The WOS playoff representative ,if there actually are any ,are not due to play their first fixture in the play offs until the 21st of May so there is no reason the league season could not be extended for all clubs to bring them in line with Darvels final fixtures.
Only time will tell if common sense prevails.

Season being extended because Darvel can’t fit in all of their games.
2 legged Junior Cup semi final really helped!
What a shitshow this league is turning into.
This only goes to show that sporting integrity matters not by the fixture secretary.
How can a team still involved in the title race be allowed to play two fixtures after the rest of the league is completed on the 11th of May and potentially knowing exactly what they require from the games, never mind it also could still impact the relegation outcomes depending on what Glenafton would still require to be safe.
As already put to the FS if this is the only option due to lack of suitable dates to fit these games in before the 11th then the only fair option would be to push the last games for every team back in line with Darvels.

Talbot got no appetite to go up at present by all accounts so would be interesting to see how they dealt with the play offs if they did win the league.

And others on pre-contracts ?
You really need to question your sources Bill.
No one on pre contracts but believe what you want as some people like to stir up nonsense for their own ends.
McGlinchey was going to leave in the summer so looks like a good bit of business by the club to get a fee for him.
Any player that doesn’t want to be at a club, for whatever the reasons, should be moved on as only cause’s disharmony within the dressing room.

Speaking to someone at QTS, they said due to change in Darvel structure and board members they have pulled out their new 5 year deal due to material change at the club, mainly John's departure.
Testing times ahead, my only hope is we are not left come the end of the season with a substantial debt to pay. Hoping John squares off any debts before he leaves then it is just a reality check and finding our true level.
Few players in long deals and I would assume getting decent money, Syme up to 2026 although you can argue he is an asset to sell, Leishman and Wilson until 2025 on £350/week due to their age i don't think there is much resale value in them, best we can do is offload them back to Talbot for free and free up the wages.
Not keen on kicking John when things go as many predicted long ago, as he has always been very welcoming to myself, but the harm he allowed his club and previous manager to do is unforgiveable. Both parties got completely lost in their egos.
Both parties had no idea or respect of the level and thought they could approch any player they fancied regardless of the affect on the other clubs.
Pushed transfer fees and wages to unsustainable levels for many clubs at WOSFL levels over the last 4/5 years and we are probably still to see the long term damage this has done.
Only hope Burgh come to some sort of reality check soon or the madness is just going to change post codes.

Given the Beith guys know everyone’s finances.
How much are Mason and Monti on a week?
No where near as much as Nicky Low

Beith are financially more fortunate than Clydebank.
This so far off the mark it probably suggests you have absolutely no clue of the finances at either club.
23 k paid out in known transfer fees since the start of the season never mind the wages of Low,Little,Gallacher,McGonigle to name but a few.Beith have spent heavily in ground improvement works over the last few seasons all self funded.
Not much change from 100k for lights is a a huge outlay for any club at this level but then a good few licensed clubs have not had this cost as they are either in a council funded facility or had it paid by a benefactor.
Nice if you can get it but don’t mock clubs who are not in this fortunate position.
Keep kidding yourself on regards what Bankies are spending as it might make you feel better in May if the gamble fails and they don’t get up this season.

Aye youre right sweetheart, the club treasurer doesnt have a clue what we’re spending…
Wouldn’t be the first club treasurer to not actually know the true finances of their club.

Signing a player is hardly throwing everything at it.
It sounds like we rub you up the wrong way and I absolutely love that.
I think we’ve paid three transfer fees in about five years if not more so you’re comment on level of spending is crazy talk. Carry on hating.
Neither yourself or Bankiebill clearly have no idea what your club are spending but bury your heads in the sand if you wish.
If you actually believe yous have only bought 3 players in 5 years that is quite worrying but then thats maybe the line your leaders feed the fans!
Watch this space if the gamble fails.

Bankies throwing everything at promotion this season.
One of the few clubs in the WOSFL that actually believe that the Lowland League is worth going to with all the additional travel costs and poorly supported teams that come with it.Hope it works out well for them as they will not be missed with their vastly inflated egos and arrogant fan base.God forbid what they would be like if they had actually been successful in their resurrection.
Given their level of spending on players in recent times they should really be getting up but we all have seen that doesnt guarantee anything given what happened tp Darvel.

Lol we’ve recalled a boy from loan resigned a fantastic striker who left for oz and returned and signed a defender. Aye we’ll be announcing Messi next week. Last years league winners were paying guys £5/600 a week and we’ve probably got one of the smallest wage bills in the league. Moff is a fantastic man manager.
Think you might be meaning two season ago league winner as last years winners would never pay players anything like those figures.

Beith sell Rossiter to Johnstone Burgh and seemingly looking to offload McGlinchey. Thats not going to do a title challenge any good you'dve thought. Decent players.
Utter nonsense regarding Conner McGlinchey.
With regards Blair leaving then it is hardly the fault of Beith that certain clubs are willing to offer players at our level rediculous deals that turn their heads.
Stick to worrying about the Bankies as Beith will be just fine with regards being in the running for another league flag.

Good, get it all off your chest gents, anything else ? what about the budget being cut ? what about being told to play certain players ? What about asking for a centre half when it was needed and be told no. What about asking for a goalkeeper when the no 1 got injured and told no
won’t fit your agenda will it
No point in trying to defend yourself Gorms as you are the easy target as you are no longer there.
Truth be known the exit of Strain was the beginning of the demise for the Buffs and the Chairman exiting the scene early in the season certainly didn’t help the stability of the club.

As far as I am aware, Beith are nowhere near obtaining an SFA licence, which is a pity, as they are arguably favourites to be crowned WoSL champions. Darvel's consistency has slipped, and Talbot have too many fixtures to fulfill. As potential champions, Beith are not licensed, so they cannot enter the Lowland promotion play-offs at the end of this season. Top 6 :-
BEITH 21 -48 DARVEL 20 - 41 POLLOK 22 - 38 MEADOW 20 - 32 TALBOT 14 - 30 CLYDEBANK 17 - 30
Disappointing for the WoSL, if it is not represented in the Pyramid play-off,
Given Beith have never put any statements out to say where they are with their License application then the source of your assumptions are pure here say.
If the leaked latest SFA proposals get passed then the pathway is in turmoil yet again regardless of licenses.

Correct my beef is that Glenafton should’ve had no say in rearranging the game as the League should’ve automatically sorted that out given the clash with the Euro final but by not making that call it allowed Glen’s to use it to their advantage.
1 -
Anyone who knows anything about football in the west of Scotland knows that no team should be playing at the same time as Rangers in a Euro final.
The minute the semifinal result was clear and the Europa final date was confirmed all other games in Scotland should’ve been rescheduled.0 -
Glenafton were well aware that by sticking to the Wednesday fixture was going to make it harder to field a full team as Blantyre had asked for the game to be switched as they knew they would be struggling for a team.
Yes the League/Kenny should have stepped in and forced the cancellation and none of this nonsense would’ve arisen.0 -
Easy for you to say given your team are safe from relegation.
Glens knew exactly what they were doing by not agreeing to switch the game.
Should’ve been taken out both teams hands and moved to the Saturday as both team’s were not playing on that day.0 -
Glenafton knew exactly what they were doing by refusing to switch the game as they were talking about it in the Saturday game against Beith.
The game should never have been arranged on the night of a Euro final with a team from the West of Scotland with a huge fan base from everywhere taking part.
Afton would’ve beat Blantyre in any case but forcing it on to help there own ends is unsporting at the least and is totally unfair in the two other teams left in the relegation places along with them.2 -
Good to see the Lok re-cyling their old flag pole, not that they,ve had much use for it in a while!

The WOS team are not scheduled to play until Tuesday 21st May in the play offs.
League could be extended until Wednesday the 15th of May in line with Darvels final game still giving sufficient time for all play off scenarios to be decided.
