Very early days for Dumbarton. Remember we were back in pre-season training long before most teams as well. Having said that, Hamill and Lang are looking like very good business indeed from Faz.

Any of you guys know if the highlights of the playoff semi final 2nd leg will ever see the light of day? I'm told there was someone filming directly opposite the main stand. Can understand if they've been destroyed in a fit of rage, but it seems a shame nonetheless

Jamie Longworth is probably the nicest guy in football. Hopefully with plenty of game time he'll bang the goals in. Watch out for the Jammer cutback.

Pretty much spot on. Would add that he'll literally shoot from anywhere, and loves a Hollywood pass. Having said that he's been a great servant for us and would run through walls for the team. Very nice bloke as well.

Hard to compare as they both have their strengths. Stirling has outrageous feet and will skin players for fun. Watch any Stranraer highlights towards the end of last season (Dunfermline 4-1, Livingston 5-2, Ayr playoff finals) - was as good as I've seen him. Would argue that you're getting a player in the peak of his abilities, whereas Gibson's best days are behind him, although he's a standout at League One level and still deadly from a set piece.

Andy Stirling, on his day, will tear any team in the Championship to shreds. If you want to send him back to us in January, feel free.

This is a bit like your wife holding a press conference, only to announce she's having an affair. Stevie is a great manager and will be sorely missed at Stair Park. I'm sure he'll do amazing things at Dumbarton and I look forward to witnessing it.
