Maybe , but if he got 3k a week for 3 months, it’s 3k more a week than he’s getting (unless he’s now found a club).Anyway it’s not going to happen.
If he accepts that then suddenly his next employer may be less inclined to offer him the money he thinks he deserves.

Morrison in the papers few weeks ago saying he just wanted a club to play and never been in this situation before.
Even if he wanted more cash surely he would still rather sign for 3 months til January therefore putting himself in the shop window for a better deal in January?
Morrison was just 1 example, there are others free agents. Just found it strange with all the midfield injuries.
I don’t think it works like that Al. I would imagine that someone like Morrison is probably used to earning £25k a week and when he says he would go anywhere just to play he probably/possibly means anywhere that will pay me north of £10k. There is no club in Scotland, outwith 1 (and 1 company), who would pay that kind of money regardless of how short term it is.
ETA - After posting I realised I many be over estimating the English salaries but even if you 1/2 the figure I mentioned down to £12k a week and the player wanting a minimum of £5k I still think this is over budget.

Can this tragic patter please.
I completely agree. A 2 bedroom ex council house being the highlight of your life really is tragic.

@Rab B Nesbit no idea where you travel from but if you could get me a ticket I’d be happy to come to a big game at Anfield with you. I’ve always enjoyed the atmosphere in the big grounds down south. St James Park being a particular favourite but I’m sure Anfield would be up there, I’ve never been to a Liverpool game although I did go to see Italy vs Russia at Euro96.

Still better than a mortgage paid, 5 bed detached in Ayrshire.
Doubt it to be honest.

PS - whilst I’m here it’s worth remembering that @LincolnHearts thinks that living in a 2 bedroom semi-detached council house is evidence of a successful life.
I beg to differ.

Sunderland city centre is an absolute dive. Went down for a game a few years ago and it feels like a bigger, shitter Saltcoats.
Old people out wearing tracksuit bottoms, junkies, ugly fat women and Sunday roasts on a Saturday morning.
Also see Blackpool.

To be honest, your gradual unraveling on this thread today has been more amusing than the last hissy fit you threw, granted there are several to pick from
Seriously though Mags you are one of the worst c***s to ever grace this forum. The fact you are a middle aged man and act the way you do is embarrassing. I like you, you know that, but to reiterate my earlier comment you are one of the worst ever by whatever stick you choose to measure it with.

I am spending too much time engaging with the absolute pits of this forum (Magee, Nesbit, "Bigmouth" etc). Setting my sights too low and perhaps it has caused me to sink towards their level.
Putting the worst poster in the history of the website on ignore should help even me back out to being one of the elite posters.
Superb response. Not so much for you but certainly for the amusement of the majority.

I always though Marshmallo was one of the sound ones but I've noticed the last few weeks that his reputation (not the dotting kind) seems to be in a fair bit of doubt.
Whats actually wrong with you Marshmallo?

We are having one of these typical St Mirren seasons that will flirt with relegation. The big question have we got the players to keep us in the league remains to be seen. A change of tactics would be welcome.
I wasn't really looking for a sensible answer.
I'm sure you will be fine although Accies seem to be once again in the habit of picking up points where they shouldn't. Livingston seem to be intent on being safe by Christmas again and Ross County I thought were pretty solid at RP a couple of weeks ago. The fermers and the Edinburgh clubs may be your competition this year.

How are those amazing new signings working out for you?

That's simply not true. It is clear that a significant amount of non Celtic/Rangers fans DO indeed care who wins the title, the amount of posts/threads about them, particularly Rangers on this forum alone is testament to that. And that's why I hope Rangers win the league, because the fallout from it will be hilarious and there will be much weeping and mock outraging about x, y and z on here and similar forums.
Plus the fact that I fucking hate Celtic and it'll be great viewing to see the cameras pan round Parkhead on the last day of the season showing their crestfallen hoardes who have been so used to lording it over everyone for the last decade. They won't be able to handle losing the league to Rangers after all that has gone on since 2012 and having their precious ten in a row ripped away from them. Clyde SSB will be utterly epic should that come to pass as they all phone in to greet and whinge with auld Keevins.
Finally, it is absolute nonsense to suggest that "any supporter that has a preference between the two arse cheeks has a 'big team' and is an utter glory hunting disloyal failure of a football fan" indeed, I'd go so far as to say that that is schoolboy patter. Ironically enough, your next paragraph bemoans this thread for encouraging the idea that Scottish football is all about those two, but by your suggesting that anyone who has a preference or dislikes one more than the other "has a big team", you actually give credence to that mindset. There may be the odd few non Old Firm fans who do have a liking for one of them, but I'd imagine they are very few and far between. On the other hand, I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that the majority of non Old Firm fans DISLIKE one more than the other for whatever reason and I refuse to believe anyone who tries to tell me that they dislike/hate them both absolutely equally.
Wrong thread mate.

If you live in Ayrshire it’s undoubtedly Sevco winning their first title (or major trophy in general). You can pretty much avoid Celtic fans almost completely just by staying off this website.

I was absolutely raging after the CQN home game and exit from Europe and extremely worried about the rumours coming out of the club - delighted the manager has proved me wrong and if we can add a prolific striker to this team then the question will be how long can we keep AA instead of how long will he last.
