  1. I'd argue a few others but your contradicting your point. Bonnyrigg have the squad as they've reinvested the Hibs money from yes, you guessed it, a cash source outwith junior football. That's is the carrot. Every team can improve through the luck of the draw.
  2. Linlithgow call an EGM for Monday 4th June. Sent from my G8441 using Tapatalk
  3. Don't talk rubbish. The Rose are a top side (usually) but so are Kelty, Bonnyrigg, HOB and Bo'ness. A highly competitive league the last ten years and we've been in the hunt 9/10 of them.
  4. All rumours but Musselburgh, Haddington, Dalkeith, Blackburn and Tranent from the Premier are the teams being talked about leaving. So Tayport, Fauldhouse, Dunbar and St Andrews would replace Camelon, HOB, Bonnyrigg and Sauchie in the Superleague if the rumours come to fruition.
  5. Really? There's no mention of tomorrow's fixture. If that's true that's quite poor considering there's a league decider between them and Kelty on Saturday. 5 games in 8 days? I suppose this is where floodlights come in.
  6. The small percentage are the clubs I'm talking about. Just an opinion but the lowland league in a decade will be an East/West Superleague with a couple others.
  7. I'm not sneering at all. In fact the opposite. They have been the main reason scottish football are moving towards a pyramid. I'm only pointing out that once it's all joined up, clubs with crowds of 2 or 3 or 4 hundred will eventually pass them. The Shire are the only club that publish their attendances and going on that we are talking around 100 - 150 per game. If a club can come in with double or triple people per week that's a lot of money at that level.
  8. A relatively low level league game. My point being the larger junior clubs playing each other will have a larger gate than most the current Lowland League attendances. Theres Universities and Sport Centres in there just now.
  9. Imo when the Junior teams join the pyramid it may take a decade or so but all the current lowland league teams wight he exception of one or two will drop a league. These clubs have been pioneers but fan base will always triumph in the long run. It'll be a cracking league once the dust settles with good attendance.
