We never got beat though did we. Looked like a draw to me. Pens are just a lottery. We hit the post about 5 times and it was all one way the whole of the second half. It's not easy trying to break down 10 men behind the ball. Even Dobbie is human. Hamilton was 1-1 with them last week till the 85 min. If it wasn't for 2 late goals that would have been a draw as well.

To be fair he is maybe seeing what Dykes is like against weaker teams than we will face in the league. If he can't cut it against Stenny then he ain't going to cut it against Brechin let alone Dundee Utd, Falkirk etc. Better to find out now.

A bit of a shame to see the American go to Peterhead permanently due to not being granted a work permit for lack of first team appearances for us. I thought he moved the ball about well and had decent vision to play a ball through. Never got a fair crack at the whip I thought.

For me Reilly can go, he has been poor since the end of the year and he doesn't look interested. The pressure of other teams watching him has put him off the boil. I rated him over Lyle, he used to be strong and composed, but I think I would rather have Lyle over him now. Really disappointed with what I saw of him today and that chance is the one that cost us the tie.

To be honest we don't get the fans to merit a stadium expansion or upgrade. Maybe if the 30k plus folk from Dumfries and surrounding areas stopped supporting The Rangers and Celtic and came to watch there local team we could afford and merit a bigger stadium, maybe even the price to get in would come down. But struggling to get 2000 fans on a sat is pretty poor considering Queens play decent football and can manage 15000 at cup finals when folk decide to jump on the band wagon.

But we should be scoring more. I know antell is feeling the pressure but being jeered by your own fans will not fill him with confidence. Robinson was the same when he first came to us. He never filled me with confidence but look at him now he's left a hero after last year. And rightly so he done well. At the end of the day confidence plays a big part. Maybe antell is trying too hard or maybe he is just pish but at the moment he's all we have so nowt we can do.

I always try to defend him. Yes he makes mistakes but so does the rest of the team. He pulled off some good saves today and has done in most of the games av watched, but unfortunately it's only the mistakes that are remembered by a lot of people.
