I unfortunately take things to heart and totally understand if folk dont like it but we tried.Any way i have asked gordon to not play it any more and as from christmas it will be removed from i-tunes.Thanks to those who spent a few pence in buying it as the £110 raised from it has went to the club.

Dennis alexander from crooked jack and andy chung sang a couple of verses on the song and all the money raised was going to raith not charity.Why do you not rather than criticise folk doing things do something yourselves like contacting the club and see if the fans can do different play lists every home game.Liverpool do it and one fan each game gets their play list chosen from the main website then it gets played at half time of chosen home game.As for the townie commenting on a rovers topic f**k off to the lower league thread.

Ok if thats how the fans feel about it then i will tell the college and all those involved that the hours spent in the studio was a waste of time.That includes john rowbotham [ex ref],marilyn livingston,peter livingston,adam smith college students,tom phillips [raith director],mainy [raith trust],some fifes finest lads,judy hamilton etc etc.Of course some of the words are wrong as we wanted to bring it up to date a wee bit plus theres a drummer,guitarist,accordion player,pipers involved too just to make it a wee bit different.It was done with the best of intentions but when no one supports these sort of things then it is a total waste of time.Just a bit of fun recording a song in recording studios worth 100s of pounds an hour to hire and we got it all for nothing.I will know the next time not to organise anything in fact i have informed some of the directors i am doing no more but that was over another issue.I will say to gordon who does the tannoy to not play the song at future games aswell.No probs.

This news sucks,
I'm sure I'm not the only one who can't wait to get out the house and away to the football by lunchtime Boxing Day.
Also we are usually away from home and BigQ always has us leaving at stupid o'clock (ie hanging around outside Munns Vaults waiting on it opening before we played Partick) so i was really looking forward to this match due to the fact we were at home.
Wee john let us in eventually and its no my fault it was sunday opening hours

Correct especially as i will now miss the game as i am away to visit family that i dont get to see too often.If it had been on the fixture list we were playing on the 21st then fair enough i would know i was going to miss it.But for it to be changed like this is pish and i am sure there will be other raith and cowden fans who will miss the game.It may well suit some but its no the point.Boxing day has always been a big day for going to the football and with it being a bank holiday brings a decent crowd in but now that will be affected.Alright its changed to a saturday but its the saturday before christmas which is also a major shopping day for some.Just my opinion.

Rovers are gonna be training at glenrothes next season after the sports centre was renovated and new pitches laid.They have been training all round the country so having settled training facilities may help them and maybe get the club involved in the community.

The only problem with this trip is if shug wants to go then we would have to ban him from eating slice sausage and raw onion rolls before we leave.
If we dont then it could be a long long trip.Bodge used to travel with us when big andy had his bus that every time the door was slammed it would fall off.Who needs the party tapes when you have bodge ranting at everything.0 -
I am looking into running a bus the game down at morecambe for fifes finest.Once i get the details i will be in contact with those interested from our club.Fully paid up members will get first chance on seats then if any left non members will be allowed to book seats.We will be leaving early morning and coming back up after the game at times to be arranged with george.

Brilliant! Why has no-one else came up with this before now?
All i am saying is for the pars fans to not give up and to start fundraising.We were hours away from dying but managed to broker a deal with 2 absolute c***s of the highest order even though it upset us to even speak to them.We didnt have enough money to do the clean sweep of the board at the time but got rid of the main culprits which was a start.We have struggled ever since with one of the reasons being certain people who shall remain nameless never made good on promises of bringing big money in.Its never over no matter what others tell you.

Surely your fans can start fundraising just like what we did for reclaim the rovers campaign.We raised £100k and got a fan on the board which has been a help.Its never over............

you are welcome on our buses any time yoss and have you had any feedback from the club as regards the money that was raised and what it was used for ? We had a brilliant day so thanks to all those from wick and beyond who made us welcome.The weather was shite tho and i needed to wash the flag but it should be fit for saturdays game.The midges really are nasty little cnuts and we were ambushed just outside wick.It was so bad that some of the lads had to run to the bus.
Our driver craig was telling us how to get them out the bus by opening the roof window.Yoss we also had guid music on our bus i.e oasis and inxs altho early doors we had some old scottish tunes like glencoe etc.0 -
There was a deadline of 21 July paying up front on that, if anyone is struggling there's the MacGregor bus as well if u have contact details. Not saying the SC won't have leeway on the deadline though
There is still 3 seats on our bus if anyone is interested if so pm me for the details.I spoke to kev mcgregor last week and he said they arent taking a bus so him and his bro are going by car instead.

If anyone is wanting to go to WICK next week there is a few seats on our buses but you have to be prepared to leave early doors.The bus is leaving leslie at 5.30am then heading into kirkcaldy to pick more folk up aswell as meeting the 2nd bus.Pick up points are FIFE ARMS,STYX and GLAMIS ROAD TURNING CIRCLE.Its £20 for fifes finest members and £25 for non members so if we can help fellow raith fans who may struggle otherwise to go then you are welcome to come with us.Just pm me or see me on saturday at the utd game or for those who have my number send a TEXT

Cheers mate and i know you enjoyed punching me in the head cos every you did it you laughed lol.I learned ma lesson eventually albeit too late to avoid some bruising and concussion.You wereny a bad keeper either but if you had worn your elton johns you would have known the difference between my head and the ball.
