I think people tend to write off non-league players without a second thought but there are plenty of players who have served their time in the conference who have gone on to have very successful careers, non more-so than Jamie Vardy. Not suggesting that every signing works out but it’s got to be worth a punt rather than scraping around for Scottish Prem Rejects.

Totally agree. Mark Kerr was a wholly uninspiring choice. Can’t see how he was ever going to motivate a team and had limited coaching experience. All the “inexperienced” names being mentioned now have far more experience than Kerr had.

Where has Darren O’Dea’s name suddenly come from? Don’t recall him being linked with any other vacancies. although the same could be said about Bartley.

He was very highly regarded at Aberdeen as a coach. Not all coaches make good managers though. I think we’d be crazy to consider him.

I don’t believe bans handed down by the compliance officer are appealable. I think he pled guilty.
