  1. just the way we huffed and puffed and felt like we were getting nowhere. The niggly fouls that forfar were making, the time wasting and them punting everything away to nowhere.
Fair enough they did what they needed to, but it certainly wasn't a classic. Maybe 11v11 it would have been a better game. But it just felt like a long afternoon until we got the goals.

  2. Were they not commenting because of the state of the artificial pitch at Rugby Park?
We're told that these pitches are getting better and better all the time yet the ones that we play on in this country are piss poor.

Hamilton's looked good on saturday, as did alloa's when we played them last week. Was shocked at the state of kilmarnocks though.

  3. Terrace varies from week to week, without sounding like a bully Gary and Duncan really put me off when they're on. Awful accents (Gary can't be from Dundee), seem a bit smug for me and also think they speak a lot of shite. Not just myself thinking that either some of my mates listen and think the same. Still listen through it though.

Think the shows vastly superior when the other lads are on, some really good guys. Shaughan, Andy, Joel and Graham in particular.

I'd stick with it and it'll grow on you, for Scottish football content you won't get better. Lower league stuff is also very funny and enjoyable to listen too, Craig Telfer from the old THHP podcast comes on and is superb.

Sportsound can be really good at times but in the main is pretty shite, they cover the same topics over and over, mainly OF orientated ones too. Can be extremely infuriating. Mixed through that there's some good content and interviews from time to time.

Also, Soccer FM, try that, its superb and the 2 guys have a wee thing going with PnB. Two really funny guys covering the whole SPFL and also interviewing an ex Scottish football professional every week to see how they're getting on. It's class. I work in an office and I'm fortunate enough to be allowed to listen to these so listen to them all the time. Love a podcast.

Cheers. Aye podcasts are brilliant for listening to on the go. I might try and stick with the terrace, see if as you say it grows on me. Already listen to soccer fm, do enjoy listening to that.

  4. I think we were given 5 of those arsehole Alfie things. Fucking 5. Different colours but always the same annoying voice.

I think we started giving them on as gifts. I guess it would be rude not to share the pain.

My kids use to have them, the song got in my nerves. Got the fright of my life, when one night it went off singing in the middle of the night with no-one near it. Think it was soon chucked after that[emoji23]
  5. Just to play devils advocate, I don't think the club can be blamed for this. Not allowing plastic bottles into a ground is probably a police rule that the club won't have any say over. You only have to look at what happened at Linfield to see that there are morons out there that'll throw stuff. I'd imagine getting hit in the face with a full bottle of fruit shoot would be pretty sore.

No blaming the club really, but maybe could get involved to come to some sort of solution with them given the bairns situation. I see your point about the risk it being thrown at someone.

Another alternative is that they look at the catering side and provide childrens drink like fruit shoots, even if it means them being poured into one of they polystyrene cups?

It's full fat coke/bru they serve, he could have bought one of them? Just kept it beside themselves incase the bairn needs it, and you don't have to worry about it going flat, because it already practically is.

  6. The best way to deal with it (doubt it will be the way they do)

But you contact the supporter directly, meet with them and come up with some sort of pass and maybe a covering letter from the club explaining that the child has a medical condition and needs the juice.

Even stick a footnote on it for the stewards saying to contact the office if they have any queries about it.

10-20% discount for the club shop as a goodwill gesture and maybe a statement on the clubs website asking fans in the same situation to contact the club and put a plan in place (the card/letter) to prevent this happening again.

As i say, that's what i would do, the club though...
