I wouldn't go making too many harsh judgement's about AJ and the handling of the Fais situation. His agent is obviously a bit of a useless fud.
He's away now anyway so we'll see where AJ goes next as he has money. He's made two or three poor signings but on the whole he's done well.

He did enough in League 1.
27 for Ayr, then double figures for us, think it was about 12 or 13 in the league last season.
He is a skillful player and contributes on many levels, as well as scoring goals and providing invaluable service to the likes of Fais last season.
With Cardle, Williamson, Higginbotham, Reilly and others we'll see service to the front guys and he'll take his chances.
Not the full answer to our goal threat but a integral part of the Pars team. Anyone writing him off hasn't studied what he does or maybe know nowt about the game.

Fais scores some goals that are actually top drawer, at any level. His ability to produce skillful pieces of brilliance are undoubted, Pars fans have witnessed this.
However you will see some levels of petulance.
He will disappear in games and do not a lot for games on end.
His positional sense leaves a lot to be desired at times as well.
He has improved every season though and if Dundee's management can continue to encourage him and get him playing as part of your team then he'll do you a turn.

Anyone who berates our own players this early in the season is a fud.
People should maintain a sense of realism given it's only a few year since we came out of administration.
It's building for the future and ensuring the club continues it's progress at a pace we can afford.

The whole managerial set up and the team have to prove their worth at this level.
I'd love to see us in the top 4 come the end of the season but I think it's unlikely. Hope I'm proved wrong of course.

Consolidating ourselves in this league is exactly what we need to do.
Steady progress and and hanging onto to a reasonable level of realism is how it should be.
AJ has stated that he think top four is a reasonable ambition for the club. Good luck with that.
