  1. I believe you will be in the opposite stand. I certainly hope that's the case far better to have people to shout opposite than get a crick in your neck trying to see away fans at the far side of your own stand!
  2. Fair enough. Still, he was at least getting on the end of them, unlike anyone else. Mental that McGlynn sets you up in a way to throw countless balls into the box, without really having someone decent to aim at. You've players of ability who could easily pass their way into the box, the same way McCabe has Airdrie playing. Yes work it down the channels, but then play through the defence to create scoring opportunities. We've scored for fun that way this season. In Morrison and Kennedy you had two players who could shred defences, but neither were that good at crossing. McGlynn didn't use them to the best of their abilities in my opinion. That whole run down the wing and throw a cross in is exactly why he shows himself up as a dinosaur. Zero flexibility in his approach. One trick pony stuff.
  3. He was your best areal threat against us. Quite surprised McGlynn subbed him off on Saturday. He's well suited to arriving in the box late to get on the end of crosses. Harder to mark that way. Edit: So what I mean by that is, he'd be well suited to a midfield role over a CB role I reckon.
  4. No worries, although Utd be fair to say that who stays and who goes from our team could all depend on how these next 2 games go. There'll be plenty interest in our squad and some players wanting to test themselves at a higher level, so failing to win promotion sees us at risk of losing them. On the other hand, if we do secure promotion, there is a few who are more suited to league 1 and Rhys will be looking to strengthen the squad so some will. Undoubtedly leave for that reason. Let's hope it is that reason though. Be interesting to see where Rhys can take this squad if we get promotion.
  5. I think we need to have the same approach tomorrow as last Tuesday. Hit them early and hit them hard. Falkirk knew what were were all about and capable of, but it didn't stop us. Don't think Hamilton players will know anywhere near as much about us, so that can play to our advantage. Yes there will be nerves, but I'd be surprised if their players were not the same. Also, hearing hardly any of their team are signed up for next season, so could their commitment and effort drop as a result? A few of them maybe offski already and switching off? We've seen it with some of our players in previous play off finals. Here's hoping we see it in some of Hamiltons players tomorrow night and Saturday.
  6. Class patter right there. Since we're going for the same old, worn banter approach, you must be a hoot with your junkie, spoon burning Plastic Whistle pals. Here's hoping we get promoted and you fall flat on your face so we can continue to revive this high level content next season.
  7. Why? Are you the laugh police? Does it strictly apply to league above or does it also work for leagues below? I guess that just makes you quite sad for even reading of commenting on my post then eh?
  8. No fresher than Agent Coyle fucking up your promotion chances this season.
  9. Anyone else pick up on the financial difficulty part of the interview? Sacking McGlynn and brining in a new manager costs money. Money that eats into player budget no doubt. Think you're stuck with him.
  10. Be interesting to see if you cut your cloth accordingly next season. You've spent silly money on players not good enough, including transfer fees, and given out longer deals again to some bang average jobbers. It'll be a huge financial hit for you not getting promoted again, especially as I think your board banked in promotion this season. 25% increases for some season tickets to watch more of the same next season is a fair ask. Not to mention other Falkirk Forever funds. You guys get milked more than a dairy cow and get nothing back in return.
  11. Comedy gold. It's these gloriously stupid and arrogant comments that make beating your mob such a joy. Even though we've handed you your arse on a plate, not only in these games but for the majority of the last few seasons, you're still so deluded as to think that an average Falkirk team would beat us. Think you need to go have a wee lie down.
  12. Haha, now now, stop kidding yourself. We were magic on Tuesday and utterly destroyed you. Today was another tactical masterclass from McCabe, nullifying the dinosaur and his desperate tactics. Good times.
  13. You guys really are utter gash. Get it round the lot of you. Lolkirk. Mon The Diamonds.
  14. Was it not the long ball approach you took on Tuesday, that was pretty much mopped up every time? Aye batter in with that again.
  15. This could be one of the daftest things I've read on here this week. So you get horsed again on Saturday, but if a few players put in some heavy challenges you'll respect them more? That's a belter. That's right up there with having the most fans and most corners.
  16. Don't get me wrong, he's not a terrible player. But I'd not drop any of our front 3 for him, yet would be shocked if any team came in and paid money to buy any of our front 3. It just doesn't really happen often at our level. Only desperate clubs, throwing money about stupidly, would pay for a player at our level. So it that Allan's first sending off this season then?
  17. Who would pay a transfer fee for Morrison? Genuine question. Fees for players in lower leagues are hard to come by, especially for players who often flatter to deceive.
  18. Accident or not, his foot was high. It's clear cut, so not sure why you're clutching at straws here. Even some of your own fans agree.
  19. Think that's a tad harsh on Rae. As @aufc said, the ball could have been cleared before it even got to Rae. He was put in a very difficult position and it's all very well in hindsight saying he should've stayed back, but in the moment, he did what he's clearly trained to do and come out looking to clear it.
  20. Tactical masterclass from McCabe. An exciting young manager if ever there was one. An absolute leader on the park too. Yes, Falkirk had spells of pressure but that was always expected at some point and the defence stood solid to a man. Whole team bust a gut last night. Just a superb team effort all round. Fought for everything from the first whistle to the last. Love it.
