There's an issue as normal parking at Saughton has been reduced due to ongoing works. I wonder where they will park the buses?
Train wise I would suggest getting a tram from edinburgh would be easiest way. There is Saughton and Balgreen both walkable.
I sympathise with St mirren rage but nobody will die but of it rains it'll be the worst afternoon of your life as there is no covering at all.
We have no support so I assume it will be mixed standing. St mirren will be made really welcome. Biggest game in clubs history and we will do everything to make it a good day but facilities aren't great is an understatement.
No money is the main obstacle but plans are there. Plus I think lthv would like to renovate Saughton but tynecastle probably have ideas of their own for it. Imo both clubs should work together on Saughton to bring it up to lowland standard.
I suppose the club could get portable facilities such as toilets and catering... Suppose it depends on how many St mirren bring. Would imagine they could bring up to a 1,000?
Yeah I'm not hopeful of anything happening. We've actually lost a lot of very good players over years due to this. Frustrating for the players who deserve better.
It was incredible to watch. The boys were immense. Even after 5-1 lthv created a lot of great chances. Hopefully get a decent crowd for next round.
Have to say Stirling defensively were hopeless. So many errors.
We played Montrose at home but I can't see police sanctioning st mirren who have a much bigger support. My guess is spartans but they are already sharing with edinburgh city so who knows if it will be available?
I would suggest lthv will take 50 at a push to this one. Despite many attempts the players do not get the support their outstanding talent deserves.
Game was lthv will try to attack and play a fast possession based game. Would imagine Stirling will be fairly strong based on league position but I expect lthv to compete.
Yeah. I didnt actually realise it was against rules. I was at Heriot watt game, keeper broke his arm I think which would lead to the loss v east Kilbride imo. Think Lthv would have taken them otherwise.
Hope it's a case of preserving the park as if it's waterlogged already could be a long winter. Mind a few years back they were using anything they could find to get games on.
