Nah, it was Graham who was battered by Oakley that day and, tbf, you wouldn't get away with half that shit in the premiership.
This was my thinking. Thon referee that day let them away with murder.

There’s more Rovers fans on here than Utd or Pars. Tells you everything you need to know about their confidence in their team.

Came here to slag off a manager called Jim. Looks like it's McIntyre's lucky day.
I won’t hear a bad word against agent McIntyre. Man’s a legend.

This post will probably make your head explode.
2 very memorable games that I’ve been to at Dens Park:
14 May 1983 - stood behind the goals in the United end and cheered as they won the league. Although I’m an Arbroath fan, it was great to be there to see history being made.
2 May 1992 - sat in the Derry as Dundee lost 1-2 to Montrose in the final game of the season. Didn’t matter though as Dundee were already champions. Enjoyed being part of the post-match pitch invasion. Something I wouldn’t get to do with Arbroath until 6 years later.
Been to plenty other games at Dens and Tannadice, and many other grounds in Scotland, and further afield, as a neutral.
Some of us just like football.
I must admit though, I’m impressed that you didn’t mention Jim McIntyre.
That last sentence alone will have been enough for a head implosion.

Don’t be fooled with this 500k. Was told the loan fee was around 2 million and United set to bank almost 1m
2 million Aussie is it not?

Doubt it would take long to count the number of fucks Morton will give about keeping the home fans entertained.
Enjoy watching your boring, boring football mate. Feel sorry for you and your supporters.

They’ll definitely sit in making it a boring match. Love it for them to prove me wrong but I doubt it.

With regard to other teams, I'm actually quite pleased to see Raith doing well. Whisper it, but I've always quite liked them. Of all the Fife clubs, they seem the classiest with the most human-like fans. To me, they feel like they should be at this level, a good championship team challenging for promotion. This season, they seem to have a good manager, made some excellent signings, and they are getting that wee bit of luck.
Queen's Park are doing badly, and I find that pleasing. I thought we'd get points against them, so I'm a bit pissed off that we played them twice when we were an utter shambles. Their fans generally seem like a sensible and realistic bunch, but the club seems to have really leaned into the arrogant heel persona. An evil directors box, an arrogant attitude to the championship, building a not fit for purpose stadium and then playing at Hampden, just a mess of a club.
Dundee United are easily the best championship team I've seen in all our time in the second tier, it isn't even close. Whether they are that good or whether they just match up well against up us I'm not sure, but they shouldn't be at this level. They look like a premier league team.
To be honest, the rest of the teams are a bit of an interchangeable glob to me. We could all finish in any order.
Eh by gum your steak and black pies are the dogs bollocks.

We barely had a team. Pretty much our entire defence consisted of midfielders, and our main recognised defender, a full back playing at centre back, turns out to have been playing with a broken toe for weeks. We had 3 subs in total on the bench, and we're a part time team who had not long come out of a bruising game just a couple of days ago. Off the top of my head, we're missing 2 centre backs, a guy who can cover at full back, our most creative midfielder, the understudy for our most creative midfielder, and probably our best player this season in Hylton. We started a new signing who hasn't played a game since November, and looked like a lame horse in the last 30 minutes, only staying on because there was nobody else. Pretty much everyone in that team except Bird and Gaston were playing out of their preferred positions.
All that, and yet it was still a considerable improvement over the utter shambles of the first 2 Dundee United games. I expected far worse, so aye, I'm reasonably positive.
You’ve got a decent manager nowadays. Just ask Dundee fans.

3-0 was a bit harsh on us but then what do u expect with a squad of only 14 and only 1 recognised defender against much superior opposition. Thought the players gave their all but we desperately need a few signings.
Ref and lino the standard we’ve come to expect at this level…… embarrassing
Think every team in the league thinks the same tbh.

Expect this to be a much closer match than the last two encounters !
Arbroath have been putting in some fine performances ( a small squad due to injuries and suspensions), but still playing really well.
United are red hot favourites to win of course - no doubt about that.
Score prediction: Arbroath 2- United 2 (provided United are off form and blasting their chances into the north sea).
Nope

Trying to think of a United player I've actively disliked more than Watt but drawing a blank. The fact we're chucking about 4 grand a week at this waste of space to breathe out his sizable arse for an hour each week in the Championship sums the club up really. And the captain's armband too of course, which I'm assuming is some sort of cod psychology from the fraud in the dugout.
Tony Watt - slower than a week in jail. I’ve seen milk turn quicker.

How strong are these Simon Murray rumours? Would be a huge loss for County if it were to happen. Excellent attitude, runs for everything and scores and creates a fair amount of goals. Would be even better in the Championship.
Hope to feck you’re getting Tony Watt in exchange.

Best I can find we've had 10 Championship matches on BBC Scotland so far or scheduled through 12/1/24. Everyone has had, or is scheduled to have, a home match except Partick, and Queen's Park had had both. Total appearances through 12/1/2024 will be DU 5, QP 3, PT 3, Pars 3, Arb 1, Air 1, Ayr 1, ICT 1, GM 1, RR 1. That means the remainder of the season all but QP get a home match and PT get two.
If I had to bet, the DU v Pars match on 27/1 would have been selected if DU was pulling away...but instead I suspect we'll see something like Ayr v DU from 3/2, RR v DU from 17/2, ICT v Pars from 24/2, PT v DU from 2/3, Pars v DU from 16/3 (which would rob the Pars a second time), Arb v PT from 23/3, PT v ICT from 30/3, GM v DU from 13/4, Air v DU from 27/4, and DU v PT on 3/5. That's probably a bit too DU slanted, even for the BBC, but...
You haven’t put much thought into this have you?

Was considering going along to this as a neutral* but I’ve sacked that idea after seeing the eye-watering price for a brief. £25 for a second tier match is taking the absolute piss.

How much would you pay if not a season ticket holder to watch the pish you guys serve up on a weekly basis?

No if they can’t score. Let them down most of the season.
