  1. If we had 10,000 SSC tickets in a full Hampden would you be advocating the same approach of splitting tickets between the two games?

Personally I think anyone with a SSC membership should have the opportunity to see Scotland play tournament football, points could be used as a “first access “ to pick the game you want in the first instance, therefore rewarding the loyalty somewhat.

    Just my opinion like.
  2. There’s a difference to away tickets and tournament tickets, I would agree it should be done so as many Scotland fans can experience the tournament as possible. Highest points could be used to guarantee the most desirable game at Wembley for example.

The tartan army have an element obsessed with badge collecting and boring you with how many away days they have done, they are likely to agree with this of course, as they believe they are entitled to every game and f**k everyone else.

  3. An intriguing summer awaits, I think the financial reality of a covid hit season will come home to roost for a few clubs, I’d assume given we must have a lower cost base than any other club in this league, we might come out of this ok, with some money in the bank ready to add to the squad.

  4. I really hope we do stay up. We have such a good strong core of players signed up that have plenty more years in them. Adding guys like Stewart and Craigen to this has been huge.

Maybe get Nicky Low in the summer and then I think we need to try and get another 1 or 2 in of a similar calibre to keep the group strong going forward.

If we could just stay up, get Williamson back and then look to using our loans wisely in attacking areas I don’t see why we can’t continue staying in this league and building on what we have done already.

Championship is a million times better than League 1.

We would be a good shape whatever league we start in with the core group of players we have as you mention.

I really hope we do stay up as like many others I’m sure, I feel totally robbed of a season’s worth of decent Championship away days.

It’s massive for the profile of the club to stay in the championship so younger fans remain motivated to see us play as high a level as possible.

If we stay up, I reckon that would be Campbell’s biggest achievement with us given how we started the season, it must be said how difficult it must’ve been for us as a club plan for this season with so much unknowns right up to the last minute, I’d imagine it was difficult for us to recruit when we didn’t have much clarity with finances etc.
  5. How were we lucky?

Outplayed for large parts of the game, I’d suggest on the basis of the play we were pretty lucky today. Certainly could’ve been more than 1 down at half time.

That’s not really criticism given that we game from 2 down is an excellent result for us.

I’d expect the usual wagons circling on here to anything negative being suggested though.
  6. Fantastic the Red Lichties, well deserved point and great display by ALL players.
GTRUY to the negative AFC fans who slag their own players = disgrace.
Yes it is okay to have a negative view but the slagging of your own players is out of order and you do not have a clue about football and have probably never played it at a decent level.
C'Mon the Red Lichties, 36-0 Ya Bass.

We read this nonsense every week, I don’t think there’s anyone on here that needlessly slags the payers off. There is a decent amount that can’t hear a single bad word said about anything though.

Criticising players and the management this season is part and parcel of football and has been totally justified at times.

We weren’t fantastic today, at times we were all over the place and got a lucky draw, that’ll do me however.
  7. That season apart, have we ever had that much animosity with Arbroath fans. Its usually Ayrshire folk we fall out with.

I don’t think there’s any real animosity between anyone here.

During lockdown P&B has pretty much descended into who can reply with the shittest, snidey, arsehole type patter to prevent any decent football chat being discussed. This season id suggest Raith have a pretty high percentage of this type of poster replying, nowhere near as bad as Dundee though.

    Just my opinion like.

For what it’s worth, I’d take anything on offer here, still not convinced by us despite getting a result on Saturday and this is probably our hardest game left on paper.
