  1. See we are dead good, we just don't see it until it's put down on paper!
  2. If it's not a word, I apologise to the grammar pedants profusely but the contrariness of some on here is laughable. A couple of weeks ago, everyone was stating the defence was perfect and it was the bedrock of the team. Most also stated that we needed a commanding figure in the middle so we went out and bought Draper, who now looks match sharp and had a great game. A winger was also required but seeing as three or four other clubs in the league were after the same, I'd like to think Jim and the board made a collective decision to give Davis the chance and I think that's worked out well. Clubs like Hearts were also looking for a winger and even with their considerable spending resources, they failed. It's very early to say Jim's recruitment is horrendous but the narrative of many on here to get Jim out is getting tiresome and certainly not the view from my part of the ground
  3. We should have that song playing when we come on every week instead of that dross from Rigrun in my humble opinion
  4. 10% of goals in last two years directly attributable to Woods not tracking back his man?? I've seen around 60% of those games and must have missed most of them. Always the easy touch for vitriolic fans as I fear Ryan will be this year.
  5. A bit Shrodingers cat there pal. How can a player get such high passing stats be hiding? No one is here to say he's a world class midfielder but he was the best one we had. I assume in a few months you'll be saying the same about Lindsay.
  6. Sad to see him go. A player that was always there to accept the ball from his defence and never hid like other midfielders. To his detriment at times as the more you have the ball, the more you're likely to lose it. Thanks Martin for great service for two and a half years
  7. Killie have just announced signing Chrissy Burke which is a little perturbing to say the least
  8. Played very well but did get caught dwelling a couple of times. Good start though. Who got MoM?
  9. I feel in my that something big is in the offing, similar to when we signed Robbie Williamson from the Clach
  10. Happy for him to get a three year contract. He's 26 with a young'un so delighted that the near million and a half that he'll make in wages, signing on fees and loyalty bonuses should provide security for the rest of his puff. Hope Jim gets some of the cash but wouldn't be surprised if directors get a hefty slice of the fee
  11. Woods going to Dundee? Who's going to get the irrational hatred and bile now?
  12. Think I'm in the fan majority by wanting Jim to stay although maybe not in the social media active majority. Points wise, we're only a couple down on last year with a Rangers in the league and although that isn't progress it's not a significant deterioration. I'm happy with the backbone for next season and I'm looking forward to fighting for the realistic 5th and 6th spot within a very competitive league. Ketts's agent needs to try and get him a 1st/2nd div team to prove himself as I don't want him doing a Foran on my team
  13. Routis is the laziest player I've seen in a County top since Don Cowie Senior. His performance against Hamilton was shocking
  14. To be honest, he's 26 years old so this his money making contract. If it's a 3 or 4 year deal somewhere, take the money anywhere in England and if it doesn't work out, mon back on loan pal. Great use of the phrase,"cash on the barrel head". Need to listen to some Gram Parsons now
  15. Don't think any other player in the league would have bothered attempting to get that back header flick from the touch line to instigate McCarts hospital pass and then Easson's meltdown. I had him as MotM, weird with Boyce scoring 4 but the goal changed the game completely. A great bond in the team last night. Jim, in my opinion has got things back in order and should be applauded as much as the team should be
  16. Not sure if McLaughlin is fast enough for league. Would love to be proved wrong but the games I saw of him, that would be my guess why he's not really anywhere near the first team just now
  17. Bauben owned the middle of the park last year against Jackson, does nobody remember that? Standard pish on here before guy gets a chance
  18. Although not overly enamoured with Fozzy leaving and not too bothered about Graham going, I assume wages have been freed for GMS coming on loan within the next week. As someone else stated, keep the heid awbody, have faith in big Jum and wee Bill
  19. Still hoping he does a Ritchie Brittain to be honest. Raging he's gone. He's been tremendous for us in my opinion but I get the feeling at Alloa, him and Jim had a wee parting of the ways
  20. Watch the League cup final again. T'was one his finest hours and is a real good couple of hours watch
  21. Have to agree, McEveley was horrific yesterday although the third goal, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt as MacShane's inability/unwillingness to track back with McGowan was the main contributor
