Alloa splashing the cash
At least you have a competent manager too.

I knew we got a new goalkeeping coach as well, David Martindale told me as I passed him in the street.
Seriously though I did see this on my twitter someone I followed liked the guys post on his own twitter can't remember who or what the goalkeeping coach' name was but I do remember he was the former Albion Rovers goalkeeping coach (I think).
Yeah, Ross Ballantyne. I saw the tweet also mate.

I know its a lesser concern but our kit deal has also run out. It was signed in 2014 for 2 years.
Wonder if we'll try to re-negotiate with Joma.

We beat Cowdenbeath in the cup the season we played them in a final.
Was your game against Peterhead not nearer the start of the season? They've improved allot as the season has gone on, however if Ayr get there shit in order, get a settled 11 and don't play Stevenson they have every chance.
It was 28 November 2015 vs Peterhead.

Probs not cut out for the prem and woeful in cup final.

No chance should we be letting him go to someone else in the division. Yeah, we're nine points clear of ninth, but what if we have a collapse in form and he ends up scoring crucial goals which end up relegating us? If he goes out on loan it has to be to League One.
Interested to see how Hopkin does, his spell as caretaker with us was truly awful but it was with an abysmal squad so it's possible he was just unlucky.
What were the results/record when he was in charge of Morton? I remembered reading you got skelped by ICT.

Ian Murray the favourite apparently and board room meeting later today

Signed on a short-term contract until the end of the season, apparently. Didn't realise he was training with you guys, but apparently he has a trail with Wrexham, which obviously didn't work out. Hopefully Daniello took a look while all this was going on and decided he was past it.
Watch him rack up the goals in League One now
Haha, thanks for replying. I'd have gambled on him had he not rejoined accies at that point. Should definitely do a job for stenny. Was unaware he had gone down to wrexham for a trial haha.

I don't like our style of play as much under Lennon, but he doesn't have much of a choice. I was just talking to my mum yesterday about his reasoning for letting most of the old squad go (for those who don't know, he thought his St Mirren squad downed tools after winning the League Cup, so he was concerned that our old guard would have an attitude problem when asked to put a shift in this season), and his prior experience might have worked against him a wee bit as I couldn't see him having the same problems with last season's squad.
Chop would still do well in a better team IMO. As it stands, he's been working harder this season than he did in the last, and does a great job of picking up the forward balls, holding the ball up, and laying it off to forward runners. I don't know why we insist on playing high balls up to him, as he's almost always going to be out-jumped by the bigger lads marking him; he's smart enough that he often doesn't bother jumping, waiting instead to see if the defender makes a hash of the header, which he's then in a position to take advantage of. Just give it to his feet FFS. Get a fast (or big) goalscorer up with him and they'd make hay together.
I've no answers (other than the embarrassingly-obvious GET SOME FUCKING STRIKERS IN!), but the mistakes have been made and I don't know that another manager would do any better with the materials at hand. Surely Danny's bound to be looking for other players, but you'd like to think we'd have had a chance of signing someone like Jason Scotland, considering he ended up at Stenny. Apparently his signings at St Mirren weren't great, so maybe he could use a good talent scout alongside him in a Clough/Taylor type of scenario.
Is Scotland on loan to stenny? We had him training with us at Livi, before he rejoined accies.
Chopra is a bit of a poacher who is good experience to have, definitely need a faster option at alloa.

His first name is Moses - unless I didn't hear Burchill prefacing that with Holy ever time he got the ball.
Was he the guy that scored the first, at stenny?

Was definitely Morgan, spotted him immediately in the warmup haha. Didn't do much in the 1st half.

For the game tomorrow, do Edinburgh city fans get the proper away end, or are you splitting main stand?
Considering going along haha.

I believe it's Matthew Gould

Good lad him then, definitely one to keep an eye on imo.
Stand out the other night for sure amongst all the first team players.
Yeah, seen him a couple times then. Seems a good prospect.

Forgot about Praprotnik, he started too and scored but didn't look interested either, so basically 6 first team players in the team and they blew a 3-0 lead, others where the number 11 I spoke about and an OG.
11 might be Frazer Paton, signed like a month ago.

I see the development side are playing the same tactics as the first team, stroll a game and lose.
3-0 up against Forfar tonight and lost 4-3.
Ruthorford, donaldson, Beaumont, McKenna and Boulding all played full 90 minutes.
I had my doubts about Boulding but after that performance from him tonight I can't believe we have gave him a deal, dreadful from start to finish and reminded me of the same Boulding we had before he went on that scoring run, lazy, lacks strength, shirks tackles every time.
I understand he's not fully fit but it shows how bad we are, our number 11 that played beside him Kyle something (maybe someone can relighten me) was head and shoulders above him and must be wondering how he's not getting on the bench.
Ooft , who scored for Livi?

Darren Cole signed until end of season. FFS...

.
Harry Monaghan not St Mirren but Ex Hibs Clyde Annan
Might be him. Guess he's fairly young.

An ex St mirren youngster featured: has been with clyde, annan & played in Iceland...
Not sure of name, anyone who could know would be good.

Livingston beat Motherwell, 4-1 in a closed door game today. A trialist striker scored 2 (rumoured to be riordan).

Just a reminder that the Nixon court session is on the 6th.

Whats the deal with Glen just now? Is he injured?
Yeah, think out for 2 more weeks.

At least you don't have Northern Ireland... I can still express some sympathy to Alloa supporters though. Not a surprise to me the SPFL shafting Livi though.
