Agree 100%, apart from the possibility of Fraser being understudy to Foster. After last season Fraser has to be one of the first names on the sheet. Likewise I can't see Foster signing to be back up.

Really don't understand the mentality of some. If RF reads half the stuff that's been written already his head will be down before he's kicked a ball. Welcome the guy to the club and judge him after a few games ffs. New start, new manager for him, but several seem to have him doomed to failure already. Still reckon he'll be a decent acquisition (if he comes).

Reckon Foster would be a decent signing for us. Versatile, experienced, played at a good level.

According to the papers Ridgers has been installed as St Mirren's number 1 for the coming season so guess that rules out the rumours that he was coming to us......probably. See also Jamie MacDonald has signed a 3 year deal with Kilmarnock-would have taken him in a flash. Wonder what other candidates there are for our second 'squad' goalie. Are we taking it that Fox will be No1?

Suggestions that one will be a bit of a head turner......? Wouldn't classify Nick Ross as that as he's been linked with us before and been on the fringes at ICT for a while. I was a Woods fan. To my eye did a power of work, didn't stand out in a Ketts/Richie/Vigurs way, but flanked by two pretty attack minded wide men him and J.I had to do a lot of work in the middle. Goal against Motherwell was a cracker and an important one early on in our run. Good luck to him. Interesting to see who's going to be coming in. Is McShane going to be an instant shoe-in who our midfields going to be built around? Or someone who will be integrated gradually? If the latter I would say we still need a couple of substantial CM signings.

Yes, would love to see Kiss permanently signed, but can't see it happening. Think he was meant to be on 8k p/w at Cardiff? Sometimes wonder if part of the reason he hasn't had a lot of gametime is because JM has known for a while that he wasn't going to be able to retain him and has gone with the boys he maybe can. Pretty much agree with most of the above 2 posts.

What result do we want today?! The opportunity to possibly go 6 clear of Motherwell on Monday night certainly appeals, however a win for the 'Well today would certainly make for more of a slug out between a few teams. Draw wouldn't be the worst either.........

Doesn't feel like RB has played 18 times for us this season! Seemingly played in the development game against Hearts today . Sounds like Tony Dingwall didn't do himself any harm today, either!

Gardyne has been the difference in the last few games, no doubt. He's been a class above anyone else on the pitch IMHO (including the opposition). I mentioned the others as they (seem to me to ) have played more games over the season. Same reason why I didn't highlight De Vita, superb as he has been.

That's a fair shout. He's missed very few games since coming into the team and has been one of our most consistent players. Boyce has also been consistent and put in a power of work. Irvine has been one of my favourites though. Maybe not our most technical, but energy, fitness and attitude have been spot on. Not many in the squad I would be happy to see go now.

I think you could respectfully put that down to a 'senior' moment. The sentiment, if accurate , is right though. I certainly wasn't aware of that situation.
