Tis a good size of venue, holding 1000 or so. The sound isn't the best due to the funny sloping roof, but there are worse places around. The queues at the downstairs bar are mental, so go upstairs if you wish an ale or 3.
Years ago, non-students could go upstairs after the gig and get pished at student union prices, but that's no longer possible.

Well it did win but at the suitably short price of 4-5. Going by the commentary at the bookies it was a trot up job. Commentator said it had pulled over 6l clear before being eased up and still won by 2l
