Good shout...was picked for a world XI to play against England...I think Jim Baxter was too (not sure). I can't imagine any of our current ,or recent , players being chosen to represent the world. I think he was also voted European Player of the Year one season.

Any individual who plays 21 times for England is not a jobber. I think Jenas's career was blighted with injury and because of that he didnt quite reach the heights which were at one time expected of him. He may well be correct in stating Burke has perhaps made the wrong move. It goes without saying that I hope to hell Burke turns out to be the best player in Germany. However, the step up is huge. Burkes pace will be negated by defenders who will be as quick as him. Leipzig have purchased potential. I hope to hell they can help the boy to fulfil that potential. I will be very surprised if he is a nailed on starter for a couple of seasons. Cmon Scotland.

Barry Ferguson was a top notch player. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't know anything about football. I would also add that he was not world class.

Well....there is only one way to counter that and that is to play him next Sunday in Malta. Now, if he pulls out the squad with injury this week there is a chance he has been knobled. However, I think he is committed to being Scottish and im pretty sure he will take part in the game against Malta.

If he is faster than Bale then he should be running for team GB in the Olympics. One of Bale's biggest assets his his speed.
