  1. Unofficial twitter has got it up now, Ewan Murray had retweeted something last night
  2. Is it just me or has he deleted all his tweets on this subject from last night?!
  3. He's got absolutely no concept of the irony in what he is spouting though. "Hilariously parochial" indeed.
  4. I've been slightly cheered though to read that it must only be certain programme contributors that get posted a free copy. You must not be contributing enough TRS [emoji12]
  5. Logs in to see lots of activity on this thread. Excitedly scrolls through to discover we've signed Clive Smith. Logs out in despair.
  6. We only lost to Celtic after the split. Finished the season very well.
  7. We finished third! I didn't particularly warm to Lomas either but we had a successful season.
  8. MOH could play on the left or up front, he featured for us there from time to time. Indeed he played up front at Ibrox in the game that effectively got him his move. His most obvious position is on the right though. Opinion pretty split amongst Saints fans but I'd take him back. He did have a purple patch Sept - Dec 2015 but he played well before then. Was important part of cup final winning side, had Croft been fit for semi final history might have been very different.
  9. Don't think it's guaranteed. Should be looking to nail that and have a cup run.
  10. Asolutely but if there is even a small chance of getting him then should be trying to take it. The same with MOH in my view. We have a pretty desperate record in signing forward players, any advantages that we might have in the transfer market should be utilised. I don't think that is an especially blinkered view, we might not be chasing a European spot but we are still in the cup and have far from cemented a top six place yet. We should be looking to ensure we at least do that.
  11. It's surely still worth asking the question about May. Of course we can't compete with the wages that other clubs will likely be offering but it is a short term loan deal, some kind of agreement could be struck with Preston, you never know. Biased of course but returning to Saints is his best option in terms of getting games in a familiar environment. Realise I'm desperately clutching here..............
  12. Just a shame wee Stevie Broon doesn't seem to have any priorities.
  13. That was a magnificent evening. Tynecastle was in middle of getting redeveloped so we were in the Main Stand, right next to the Hearts dugout where Tommy McLean was looking none too amused at proceedings. Quarter final with Raith was terrible, one of those oh so typical missed opportunity type games (Raith played Airdrie in semi final) that Saints used to specialise in.
  14. No mention of Rangers playing Mark Hateley at centre half in their penultimate game of the season against Killie? Surprised by that.
  15. McInnes and Lomas were hardly "shite" managers were they? Lomas wasn't very likeable but he had a successful season with us. McInnes was also successful at Saints and since his spell down south has sorted Aberdeen out.
  16. Think it was actually Dave MacKay that said it as he played in the game. It was on Off the Ball, not Sportsound.
  17. Don't know why but got a feeling he won't be any good as a manager. He never overly impresses me in interviews or as a pundit.
