I have been missing football during these troubling times so have been trawling through the planner on the sky box.
Just finished watching the New Saints away game and both legs of the play-off against Airdrie.
Absolutely brilliant.
The Handling and Froxy goals against TNS!
Making Airdrie look like an absolute gang in the second leg of the play-off. What a team of heroes, and what a performance from big Tony Wallace.
Good to see some youthful Sons P&B ers in raptures too!

@RockMusic I was with Wilf at Peterhead when he was told that the drum was no more and can assure you that he knew nothing about it. Your suggestion that he somehow engineered its removal is bizarre. He stated the effect it had on his health and ceased to attend matches. End of story.

Thought Duffy came across well on the radio. Was interesting to hear the scale of the challenges a manager at our level faces. Should be compulsory listening for some of our more excitable Facebook contributors.

I don’t think so but I didn’t hear the whole thing. I think when they said “Let’s hear from the Dumbarton fans”, they were looking for backing for poor wee hard done to Stevie.
I was getting quite irritated listening to him and the presenters banging on about how he was unfortunate to be sacked after a “wee blip”. There was zero acknowledgement of the poor fare that was being served up to the loyal support for so long. I was less than happy recently, after a 4 hour drive, to sit through the pish that was the Raith game.
I would be quite comfortable in offering to have the sum total of Tam Cowan’s knowledge of Scottish football’s lower leagues inscribed on my left testicle with a Stanley knife.0 -

We have Harmonica Lewinsky playing in the bar before the final on Sunday, wee video of them below and they have other videos on Youtube for your listening pleasure. There fronted by a well known poster on here (he can out himself if he wishes although I'm sure most of you will know him anyway!) and they're getting themselves back together specially for this occasion, which is hugely appreciated. It should be a great atmosphere so get yourselves down for a pint and a listen!

The day is finally here. Safe travels to the stadium to all, especially those coming from afar e.g. Cyprus. Having had an opportunity to see the team in the flesh at the Peterhead game I have to say I was surprised when Gallagher bagged a couple of goals as looking at his overall performance it didn't seem too likely. You could not fault the lad's enthusiasm but to my mind, he looked as though he would not have been out of place in the Play For The Sons game.
Oh, and Rangeman, your use of the term "fanny baws" towards a fellow Sons supporter does nothing to make your postings any more palatable. A bit of civility amongst our own should be a minimum requirement, punctuation would be an added bonus!
