David Croft: what a chance for Latifi to out qualify Russell for the first time ever.
Latifi: nah, I’m gonna put it in the wall aswell.

Surely Spa 98 was worse conditions than this, and there was no delay due to the weather? These are meant to be the top drivers in the world, let them get on with it even if they have to tiptoe round.

That would be an odd move for Bottas, going from Hamilton's number two driver to Verstappen's. He'd be better off moving to another team that isn't fighting for the title where there would be less pressure. There was talk of him going to Alfa if Kimi retired, that would make more sense than RBR.

I think Hamilton was in a lose/lose situation at the end of the formation lap on Sunday as, due to the Mercedes garage being the first in the pit lane, he would have had to let everyone else past to avoid an unsafe release so would have been down the field anyway.

Vettel didn't leave enough fuel in the car. Penalty (DSQ?) incoming.
Russell & Latifi stopped just after the finish line so presumably they were quite close to the limit as well.I always thought that rule only came into effect in qualifying. I remember Hamilton taking pole once (Barcelona 2012?) but running out of fuel on the slow down lap, then being disqualified and starting the race at the back.

This might be a bit more serious though…

My favourite Coulthard moment was when Schumacher squared up to him in the garage and Coulthard was taking zero steps back. He's a big lad, I'd like to have seen how that went if folk hadn't been holding Schumacher back.
Schumacher wouldn’t have gotten very far as DC still had his helmet on.

To be honest, I am more annoyed with the stewards than with Lewis Hamilton, he was not responsible for the level of penalty received, even if he was responsible for putting a man in hospital.
By the way, thank f**k for the halo, again.
Hate on him as much as you want but I’m 100% sure he would never intentionally try and put someone in hospital. That’s the dangers of motorsport, they all know the risk.

Someone should remind Horner of the famous Senna quote “if you no longer go for a gap…”.
