Luckiest? Sorry but luck doesn't go on for a full season, we may not be on par consistency ways as Falkirk, Hamilton, Dundee etc... And will surely be favourites for bottom but it's the points we took from the big teams that counted. Pretty sure we took 9 from Hamilton, 5 from Falkirk and 1 from Dundee so do one.Alloa must be the luckiest team in the league. Pish team who can hardly score a goal a game.
Stick ons for bottom next season so better saving your money and sign the cheapest options.

Hopefully a team who will bring a decent sized support a wee bit of income before the season even startsHope we can get another English team or maybe a foreign team at the recs this year. Bit sick of Aberdeen u-19s tbh

Don't know the life span, I help train wasps in the community and the pitch still seems new, plenty of years to go in my opinionDoes anyone know the life span of our current plastic pitch? Going by my calculations I reckon we have had it for about 7 years. It would be interesting to find out if the pitch has actually paid for itself with regards bookings etc.

Anyone got news on anyone signing a contract yet, I know who's all been offered and who's not and the 4 asked to come in pre season but has anyone actually signed a contract yet?

Hope Darren Young gets offered a different role at the club or gets to keep working with the reserves.Pretty much everyone was offered a new contract with the exception of Andy Kirk and Darren Young who were released.

Also, if you could hand over the points in the same fashion next year it'd be greatly appreciated .
Promising nothing next season, we will need points from you next season. Thanks for the congratulations though and I think Stranraer would be the best so they can get punted down again (hopefully) and another safe season for alloa

Fans, players, managers etc that celebrate avoiding relegation on the last day of the season like they've just won the league.
Fans: Your team has been fucking shite all season and are down near the bottom for a reason. You should be ashamed of them
Players: You're not doing your job proprely and should be fucking sacked.
Managers: See players.
Arseholes. They should slope off the pitch, utterly embarrassed.
This really depends on circumstances. Take Alloa yesterday for example two seasons ago we were in the bottom division and yesterday we were celebrating not getting relegated from the second tier. Aswell as that we are one of only 3 part time clubs in the league. I could see your point if it was like Hibs or so though

yous are pish
what an educated post that was, how long did it take you to come up with that one

Pretty sure they could give Dundee some more space, and don't see why they shouldn't it will bring in some extra cash for the club which could possibly help for some improvements next season. IMO the only ones that won't give Hartley a good reception is the small amount of fans that like to complain about everything but hopefully the majority can drown out the minority

Going to be hard but alloa need to take 6 points from Dumbarton and Morton as the last 3 games are against the top 3. On Saturday this will be my hardest game to watch for me, a win is crucial but if we lose and cowden win it will leave us one point off a play-offA few Dumbarton fans thought that about Morton last night.
We got humped.
Morton played very well.
Hopefully we'll beat you Wasps down at The Rock this Saturday though.

Can't remember off the top of my head what team in France he came from but if my research was right a few months back in alloas terms of income as soon as he broke into the first team there would be a hefty compensation owed to them as part of a contractAnyone know what happened to Noel Makomabe Eboma? Last heard of him possibly breaking into the first team at Alloa last year then it all went quiet. Supposedly he was quite a talent

Raith could be a challenge but thankfully I think Morton should be a comfortable win. I wouldn't write anything off as of yet but I feel with 1 maybe 2 wins we will be safeThose last three games look hellish. Anything less than wins against Raith and Morton and we might still be involved until the bitter end. Cowden's fixtures are probably worse, thankfully. Sod it; we'll be safe with three games to go, why not.

Alot of other teams have there own thread and at this time of the season I think it's time for an alloa one.
A place where we can discuss the club and the tactics. Players who would fit in good with the club and realistic targets.
Personally I think we have done enough this season to stay up and a win against raith rovers could confirm that.
COME ON YOU WASPS!
