Agree with what you're saying about the bug type, totally useless. Poison is decent, except most of them generally have a rotten defence. My team on D/P is Infernape, Luxray, Staraptor, Rhyperior, Poliwrath and Cacturne. Having two with Fighting as their secondary type annoys me a little, but they're both useful. I generally don't ever bother with legendaries.

The thought of a Steelix following you around is great. And in the 4th gen games, water was the worst IMO, mainly due to the absolute lack of grass (unless you want a Roserade) and fire (again, unless you want a Rapidash) types, a common problem throughout most of the games, not so much with grass but definitely with fire. There are usually so many different water types that it seems like a waste to me to go for Squirtle/Totodile/Mudkip/Piplup.

I actually had both Pearl and Diamond, because I wanted to play it again but didn't want to delete my saved game. Sold Pearl though when Platinum was announced, although I've yet to actually get it.

I still play them. I thought Diamond & Pearl were genius, and I cannot wait for the remakes of Gold and Silver. My team on Diamond was superb, although I've not given it a bash in a wee while. I need to finish Emerald too.

I agree with that. I also like the third one. I do, however, try my best to pretend that Resurrection never actually existed.

I recommend going Queen's Park on FM07. You get a ridiculous amount of money for the level, and it's great fun.

Been listening to a lot of Sigur Rós lately (not that that's unusual for me), right now I've got Agaetis Byrjun on.

Game off this weekend thanks to the SFL not realising that a massive concert at Hampden would leave the pitch unplayable. They really are fucking clueless.

I also watched it from start to finish and thought it was fairly boring.
