Yep, my local MSP Graeme Dey was a sports writer for the Courier then and described the bus trip as 'The journey from hell' - in actual fact it was really interesting. The Sheraton in Tirana is still easily the best hotel I've ever stayed in too

About 120 including the guys who went independently of the official trip - absolutely fantastic and really interesting trip Perugia was great because there were so many Dees there (bit like Palace jaunt last year) but Albania was better, fascinating experience.

We're thinking of playing Man United's academy - it seems to be a big draw on Tayside

Actually it's Peter Marr who has one of the originals rather than the club, he bought it while still on our board - the other one used to be on display in the Dee Club and I'd imagine it's probably still there - but it's years since I was in there.

Not the best match but a great occasion for the lads taking part - Thought Bullfrog shaded the first half and Argyle the second - really enjoyed photographing the game - crowd (for both teams) were superb and I agree that venue was just the right size for 600 and odd fans. I was at Hillsborough (in the Forest end) - it was the second year in a row the teams had met at the semi final stage and the previous year we got caught in a crush in the tunnel leading onto the terrace at the Kop end - it was scary as feck and luckily at the Kop there was plenty of space once we got forced out of that tunnel and onto the terrace - that obviously wasn't the case at the Leppings Lane end. Worst day of my life - standing watching people die isn't what you go to the football for. JFT96

The boy is a graphic design student and has done really well to get himself a lot of publicity - he's got decent graphic skills too, but as I told him last night on twitter he doesn't tell the story of why anyone should care about Dundee City - He's just done some pretty graphics of strips, badge, merchandising etc. Nothing that tries to sell Dundee City to the public after the fictional merger. Could have done that as a rebrand for an existing team - but it wouldn't have got him publicity and got his work seen by prospective employers, though he could have got even more by basing it on Glasgow FC the new merged superteam that the English Premiership might actually allow to play down South

Ta I buy my equipment - it's not cheap - The 1dx is an absolute machine - at four and a half grand it should be though. Loved Vancouver as well as Whistler and Victoria, rented an apartment downtown for a fortnight in June - I could happily live out there if the Whitecaps signed Gary Harkins
