Isn’t the Friday tv game? We all know how Jim Goodwin and games why under pressure goes that are televised
Seemingly both clubs have used up quota of home games for TV coverage

In the 1980's I saw lot's of United games in the EUFA cup, most memorably I even took a day off school to get the train to Dundee to secure tickets for the Roma European Cup semi final. A few years after that I was at the game where Gallacher scored to beat Barca 1-0. Even went to Hampden to see Special Brew beat the ****.
How the mighty have fallen eh?
Bad enough for their supporters that they have turned into such a shitshow on the park (mostly due to donkey managers like Goodwin and an incompetent owners and boards) seems they've now gone an finally flushed any last vestiges of their reputation down the pan with this mishandling of ticket sales, what an utter shambles of a club.
Seems the arabs I work with (the ones that said Rovers would be a spec in their rear view mirrors by Easter) are too embarrassed to answer my messages and calls.
Priceless!
I'm of an age that I done exactly the same as well as going to Derek Starks testimonial dinner at Dean

I would go a stage further and not sell them any tickets. Checkpoints at the Tay Bridge should be enacted with drivers forced to say 'I actually quite like Dunfermline' to ensure only regular commuters get through.
You won't have any problems with Livvy fans next season

I agree, it's unlikely to be the manager himself making these decisions.
But someone in your Boardroom must feel they'll get an advantage from having less Raith fans (but without the opportunity for more United fans).
The longer United stay silent on the reasons for restricting our allocation, the more we'll assume it's purely because they don't want a large and noisy away support helping our team on the field.
£4mill reasons and counting why utd should scrape for every £1 from away fans

Youngmcnaughtleigh, must be busy washing the egg of his face after that announcement
No I'm OK I was only passing on what seemed a credible development given the details
After some of the words o wisdom on here about formations and player signings etc there can't be much eggs left in kdy
As for Jimmy Nic along with Mcglyn the pair maybe won a cup but left the club with plenty debt
Glad I've amused you tho no hard feelings

Well if the post re takeover falling through turns out to be untrue or even pish as a previous post all I can add is the fan who told me is as close to the inside of the club without being a director
The reasons given were multiple and reasonable so as to be believed
Any way whatever and I'll still buy my season cant be anyworse than the Anelka or Glasgow boys experience plus many more

Just been told by insider at Kelty the takeover has fallen through
Could give more details but will wait to see if confirmed

I can say with a fair degree of certainty that the person who wrote this did so because they were in the mistaken belief that Armstrong had crossed the ball, and in addition, doesn’t get paid by the club.Your in depth analysis must take some time to type so I'll give you the benefit of doubt.what is your experience of any grade of football management or coaching etc?not criticising just interested to know

I have had a season ticket for the last 7 or 8 years. I haven’t renewed yet but I’ve not received one single bit of communication from the club despite them having my address and email. That side of the club is woefully inadequate. They just don’t understand the need to build a relationship with ‘customers’
I have had a season ticket since 1963 and have not ever received a reminder or a thanks
It was 10 shillings or 50p in " new" money unfortunately for Raith's finances it was a single card that could be thrown over the wall for pals to use.
The steward on the gate at that time, Willie Brown was up to the trick and few got through
So despite all the moans and groans as if somethings new at Starks nothing has ever really changed so get over it support your team

"I only ask he reaches out to all Rovers supporters, which I don't think any of the recent directors have done at all. "
Sorry I should have put that end bit in bold to make it clearer, I don't think ANY of the reps have communicated nearly enough with the fans.
Hopefully Andy Mill will be different.
He was the only candidate that gave a cursory mention to fans in the main stand
We dont all sit in the south stand
Can any one on here tell me what difference the last supporter rep made

I have visited Starks a number of times and it was clear that the pitch was not in great shape. A few seasons back there seemed to be more sand than grass. Plus I remember a few years back Rovers having a really bad run of postponements which equalled no cash turnover for the club as a business.Ask penman why

No need to ask I heard 1st hand what went on.
Prior to going on holiday the groundsman at the time (John Murray iirc) left clear and concise instructions on what the aggregates and layers were to be but it was ignored and spoil from the building site at Seafield was used instead. All the good grade topsoil went to the expensive houses gardens at Seafield and the crap was used to level the pitch.
Exactly and the new chairman has stated there was a small coming from the pitch
Methane?

Given the crap drainage at SP since the pitch was levelled in the 90's I think there'll be a shedload of work still to be done before the plastic arrives.
If in doing so they discover graver issues (as Sim alluded to in his interview) it might take even longer and cost a lot more.
Ask Penman what he done with the good top soil when the new stands were built and the pitch levelled that' the problem

Not giving my age away but I've had a season non stop since 1963
There is nothing absolutely nothing happening now that's new
You either support Raith or do not
I understand the frustration but that's what goes with this territory
Stick with it better days are coming
At least my grandad told me that and he never lived to see the league cup win or the fish and chip cup victory

The name Willie McNaught (real one) and the word bin should never ever be in the same sentence
