That has to be the worst 4 fixtures we could have drawn... Rangers aside.
Sat 8 August Hibernian Home
Sat 15 August St. Mirren Away
Sat 22 August Queen of the South Home
Sat 29 August Falkirk AwayThink Smith might be able to do a job if hes given a good run at it.

Jason Scotland still doesn't have a club...

I'd love to see McCallum in pre-season, I think him & an experienced Cawley could work wonders, Kind of like Kane & Nish.

If Taggart and Garry sign up we have a starting 11, Could possibly look something like this..

Excellent news. I'm more optimistic now than I was this time last year or 2 Year ago. Feel good factor.

He's also an ex boxer. If anyone tries to act like moshni, they'll get a pasting.

Garry is a decent player. Think he's lucky to be playing at this level though.

Some wages freed up. Sad to see Aggy go but we could possibly get 2 players for the price of 1.

Lee Robinson is a free agent. I remember some chat on here last year, folk wanting to see him at Dumbarton. Pretty sure he was decent at this level.

I think Mitch would make an outstanding striker at this level if he fulfils his potential but his work rate isn't great, often looked like he couldn't be arsed.

Miller seems to have a good dig on him aswell. New free kick taker?

Pleased with Crawley. Ryan Mccord would be a good accusition providing he hasn't committed to alloa.

Would need to be a solid 70 year lease for it to even be considered remotely worth it.

Who's Darren Miller?
Was a brilliant signing for me on football manager 2014.

Surely Aggy will want another run against the "big teams". I doubt St mirren will be interested.

Signing up Graham, Aggy and Fleming should be a priority before he jets off.

Once we get findlay, Rogers and Kane. Well win the league.

We're being linked with 6"4 Albion Rovers striker, Mark McGuigan on the League 2 transfers thread. Hit 11 goals this season. Stranraer and Dunfermline also interested apparently.
This is the first time hes ever scored double figures in a season I think. This is hopefully a nonsense story.

I hope young Mccallum gets a good run pre season and provides us with the striker we've been craving since Kane left. Without getting a weathered SPL has been.

Just checking back on this seasons league attendances and deduce our average home league attendance is 1074. This despite having the big 3 in the league this season. If you remove a third as away supporters you are talking less than 700.regular dumbarton supporters despite now being in the championship for three seasons.
Compare this with season 2003-04 when we finished third in division two which was then the third tier. That season the league average was 1050 despite playing against teams like airdrie Forfar and Berwick rangers. It would appear the dumbarton core support continues to drop despite the side being relatively successful. Hopefully the move to a new and bigger ground will attract more supporters or our core support could dwindle to 300- 400 especially if we are relegated in the future.
Could be due to the increase in ticket prices. 20-22 quid to watch Dumbarton when people can hop on a bus at the harp/masonic and go watch celtic or rangers respectively for an extra tenner.

Pish. Wonder if theyd accept a request to play next Wednesday at 4.45pm. Incompetent p***ks.

A million quid. Cowden need to sell him asap. That'd finance them for the next few Years.

I'm sure there was figures in the 600 p/w region that Dumbarton players where on with there weekly wage and salary from jobs. Probably more than what most full time teams can offer at this level.
