Any danger this will be postponed due to the rain? Pretty much every train from Glasgow to Falkirk cancelled already

Some positive signs in that first half for sure but that cutting edge is still lacking.
I love that O’ Hara is finding the space to make those runs but we need someone getting into the middle to support him.
Tait looking good

He was our top scorer and best striking option, albeit he wasn’t setting the heather alight.
The fans very much wanted him to stay but Larne offered the prospect of European football and the board let him move in January

Looking forward to some of the away days.
Beyond that…….

Any ideas what the comment was that Rankin mentioned in his post match interview?
Seen it suggested it was the horrendous one that fucking oddball made on twitter the other night but Accies Twitter said it was something said at the game today

Buzzing for this one like

Delighted with that to be honest.
Deserved win, good battling performance and played some half decent stuff at times. Ashley-Seal up front is a massive, massive improvement on Tiehi so hopefully he can stay fit.
On Tiehi, absolutely fucking stupid thing to do for the red card. Could have cost us but as it is at least we know he won’t play on Saturday so every cloud.

At the end of the day how many people here apart from me and @accies1874 have worn a challenge cup medal?
Me! Also courtesy of young McGinn

Anyone who wasn’t in the Bay Horse tonight missed out on some party by the way

No McGowan is worrying. Good to see Stephenson get a start though.
Not feeling good about this

McGowan is probably out which on its own is a massive, massive blow. Gives me no confidence in our defence

It has a strong vibe of that yeah.
Hopefully we can win the Challenge Cup to inject a bit of joy into the season at least

Dammit ... you're applying good common sense here guys, exactly what I was fearing the most. If John Rankin's of the same view, we might take a doing here ... 🫤
It won’t be a doing by any means, but if we keep the momentum of the last few weeks going we should have enough to get through.
On the other hand this is Accies, so

Agreed, we’re taking a pumping on Friday regardless of how we set up so would rather go for it tomorrow and give us the chance of a final in what has been an otherwise largely miserable season

Credit where it’s due, those three HT subs turned the game on it’s head after an absolutely woeful first half performance.
We looked a completely different team with some midfield creativity and Stephenson as an outlet on the right. You could also see Tiehi’s confidence grow with better options either side of him.
De Bolle was great, and McGowan has transformed that back line into a solid unit for the first time in god knows how long.

What the actual f**k man

The way things are going there’ll be no Accies fans there so you’ll have the run of the place

This is some laugh

Glad I booked buses and a hotel for this game
Will the pubs be open at least if we still head up?

Looked like he went through the player to me but I’m at the opposite end of the ground
It was a truly bizarre decision to be fair, was a great challenge. Justice done with the save, absolutely no complaints about conceding an equaliser in that manner. Great strike.
Ayr probably just about edged it but a draw was fair. We badly need some creativity in the team

His biggest barrier to success with us was Canning’s insistence on shoehorning him in at RB to be honest. Always looked half decent in midfield

Yeah to add I was impressed with Gillespie, always liked him at Accies despite his limited ability but he looked like a player today. Good to see him doing well

We weren’t great by any stretch of the imagination but f**k me what chance did we have of nicking the game with that referee?! Was at the stage by the end where people round about me weren’t even angry, genuinely just laughing in bewilderment at some of his decisions.
Props to Chucky and Winter for trying their best with the hopeful punts up the park but we badly need some creativity

Christ they’re not even trying to be subtle about it today

Edinburgh City VS Accies

Accies season thus far summed up beautifully in one game today, albeit against a very poor opposition.
Unplayable first half, looked like we were going to score every time we went forward.
Second half was back to looking like a team of players that had genuinely never met each other before
