  1. I genuinely have no clue what to expect today. @ayrunitedfw I like the idea of a backlash like you mention but in all honesty I don't think we have it in us, we've had stinking results before followed by games that, on paper, we should be winning. It's usually either more of the same or a shitfest draw/win that does nothing to appease the fans.

not surprised, after all that was the century of the salem witch trials

It was also the century of the Battle of the Boyne, which for reasons unfathomable to anyone else in the world seems to be extremely important to Rangers fans and to which Helpma was referring

But I suspect you already knew this, you rascal

Well sounded so dominant but the goal seemed inevitable once Accies had a few chances.

"Turnbull puts the ball in to the box" was Rob McLeans most uttered phrase today.

I wouldn't have said Motherwell were dominant at all, it was a pretty even game but Accies had the clearer cut chances by a distance. Two, arguably three, absolute sitters before the goal and a few half chances on top of that.

Motherwell probably had more possession but I never felt they looked particularly threatening

  4. Accies realistically have 6 or 7 games per season that are must wins, and that you feel we have a decent chance. Two of those have been in the last week and we've lost both.

Early doors and all that but with two very difficult games coming up next and realistically 5 defeats in a row it's already difficult to see how we're going to turn this season around.

You should be happy. You get the benefit of Aberdeen being 8 players down, and the Considine suspension, since someone, somewhere, decided St Johnstone should be punished for Aberdeen players breaking rules.

Oh St Johnstone should be awarded the three points for today too, don't get me wrong.

I suspect Accies will still find a way to f**k it up on Wednesday if the game goes ahead

  6. To be fair our performances against Celtic last season were mostly decent, might even have nicked something from the last one at home if the referee hadn't absolutely shit the bed and sent Griffiths off for that stamp.

But first day of the season, lots of our best players gone, new guys and youngsters thrown in at the deep end, Celtic ramped up for another inevitable title win.... Nah, not today.
