  1. I think thats his career over. Such a shame for a truely world class player.

We've genuinely had some horrific luck with injuries at Tannadice.  All I seen today was 2 players going 100 per cent for a challenge. Gordon has came off so much worse. I didn't see the game as dirty but we've came off worse. The shoe could easily have been on the other foot. Unfortunately for us, again, we came off worse. Can only wish him all the best.

You cant say it's unfair to relegate Hearts after 30 games because they can still finish 8th, and not say it's unfair to give Hearts 12th placed prize money when they can still finish 8th.

Unless, of course, you dont actually care about what's "fair" and are just desperately working out a system that sees your club saved and would get the backing of cash starved clubs at the bottom of the pile (for example: Rangers "dont give Celtic the title and get your money now" sales pitch)

It wouldn't be a relegation. It would be an expulsion.

Sorry for the delay. Yeah, heading off on Thursday. Got tickets for CARP, Boca, and I’ve been set up for Estudiantes as well. My contact has also got us an invite to see Estudiantes at their training base. Also got Huracan, Argentines Juniors, Independiente and a couple of 2nd div games lined up. Was looking to venture into Uruguay, but the fixture gods haven’t been kind. Sadly, the Velez game this Friday has been cancelled, but as I speak, I’m waiting on more 3rd div fixtures to be announced. All in, got 8 games planned in 11 days, but still hoping to get more. The CARP game we’ve got the hospitality package. Paid just short of £100 for it, but god knows what’s involved.

Sounds great. When we went the league had been suspended then all of a sudden it was back on. So the Velez game might be back on. Can you speak any Spanish? Quite handy for Buenos Aires. The only thing I dont envy is your flight. Hope you have a blast. We did.

Any contact info for the guy who helped you currahee? Have been to Istanbul, so everywhere else is do-able after that.emoji38.png

I got my tickets via viagogo and the guy will email you about what hotel to meet at beforehand. The hotel was in the city centre. Before River v Boca we met outside a coffee shop. There's plenty others doing the same so there's no problems.

Take your passport. There are plenty police searches etc before the stadiums...especially la Bombonera. It saves quite a lot of time.

Tickets were easy to buy.  Got tickets for Boca v Racing and got picked up and taken back in a mini bus. The guy was very helpful. You are left on your own though once you are in the stadium. All we were told is don't go into "12" which is where the ultras are. It was an unbelievable experience.

The following week I got tickets for River v Boca. It was from the same guy but had to make my own way to and from El Monumental. If your hotel is in the city centre either organise a taxi or prepare for a long walk.

Bonbonera pisses all over El Monumental.

Btw Buenos Aires is absolutely huge.

I think if you could nae pay yer bills you'd tend to fold as well. As I said earlier the extra fine was like the final nail in coffin. I hope they can rebuild and start again it's a great wee set up doon there.

There was seemingly a meeting tonight and they can't pay their debts.

Hope they can regroup at start again in the EOS. The Lowland was just too much. Shame for everyone involved and the town.

A defibrillator is an expensive bit of kit, so I'm sure for insurance purposes they have to limit access which is why it's locked up out with their governance.

It's also a dangerous bit of kit. I've been on basic first aid courses in the past, none of them covered the use of a defibrillator. Selkirk presumably have designated first aiders who have been on a specialist course. Perhaps if Vics got a rep to go on the same course Selkirk would allow access.

Yet Selkirk FC are on the list of available defribrallators.....

A wee update regarding the defibrillator. It's only for Selkirk FC and not for Selkirk Vics who use the changing rooms or the supporters.

Who makes these terrible decisions? An absolute joke. Disgusting.

Well all this you state was from the previous chairman?

It's time to get the heeds together and get the bond back.

Nae disrespect to the vics but if you don't follow borders fitba you wouldn't know who the vics are.

Keeping the door locked was nothing to do with the previous chairman.

I hope it was an honest mistake.

I’d expect there is, I wrote sometimes, probably should have wrote always

I do know Selkirk wouldn't allow the Vics to use the pitch. They also wanted to take players whenever they wanted to sit on the bench. Quite a lot of nonsense happened and the Vics totally separated themselves from Selkirk.

I think its quite telling when more people watch the Vics than Selkirk.

Sometimes when a borders club have an amateur and an Eos side there’s friction between the two.

There is friction between Selkirk and Selkirk Victoria.  Don't know if that was down to the previous chairman or not.
