  1. Haudit and Daudit playing down media claims Rangers have reached a deal with HMRC... Well there's a surprise! Wasn't that Traynor spouting that line?

it's funny that when any of these guys are questioned as to why these guys didn't think to say anything over the years their stock answer is always "well of course, I knew what was going on, I'd had discussions about it but I can't very well come out and say it without any hard evidence I'd be up in front of a judge the next day"

  2. It seems their is no chance of Rangers surviving this and yet still Dundee continue to sign 1st division class players and sell season tickets at 1st division prices also they will be negotiating with players on 1st division wages (New signings and re-signed players)

When is the madness going to stop?

have you seen Dundee's gate prices next year? They think they're going to the Premiership by the looks of it

I think in situations like these it's important to pull relevant quotes from historical figures

here's a paraphrased quote from Violent J from Insane Clown Posse

    violent-j.jpg?w=640

"...and they wanted to know if I would trade 10 diddy fans for a 100 OF fans and I said I wouldn't trade 10 diddy fans for a 100,000 OF fans; 10 diddy fans is

  3. the thing about Chick Young & his ilk, though, is that they are not reporting unbaised on a story that's happening to which they are an outside party, they are right at the heart of it, rightly or wrongly they have made a career out of being cozy with the Rangers management & players & in return for positive reporting are given inside access & treated very well. The big losers of this whole story will be that the papers & the radio will be employing less or different journalists & pundits the ones with Rangers connections will be relegated to after dinner speaking and hosting memorial events.

What we heard from Chick Young today (and Goram to an extent) is the equivilant of the apprentice boardroom, they are staring oblivion in the face, there is now a real chance there will be no Rangers in professional football so they are grasping on to 'yeah send us to the third division' as a last grasp because the thought that the best opportunity for the club is to have a fan led junior team means no jobs & no money directly for them, you can understand their desperation but the hurdles are becoming walls

can't play in Europe without a UEFA licence, can't get one because of finances

can't play in the SPL without an SFA licence, forfieted it by taking the SFA to court

can't sign over 18s because the club decided to withold/steal millions of pounds tax contributions

can't start a newco because they will have no SFA licence to transfer

can't form a completely new team because every connected director will fail a FPP test + will be looked on as a continuation by the SFA

even if they passed that they don't have 3 years accounts to satisfy application criteria

also dont have a stadium to play on, you need to own or have prime tennancy of a ground to even apply to the SFL too

the rules on buying over a team were massively tightened up & even if they could do a deal to buy Cowdenbeath or East Stirlingshire (sorry guys but the obvious targets) I'd think again the SFL + SFA would look poorly on any application that looked like a continuation of Rangers due to the potential upset of FIFA & UEFA

They have no where to go anymore, the SFA trying to do them a favour by not expelling them has been chucked back in their face, now it's only about Green trying to convince fans a deal was agreed by all so that when the trigger is pulled he can say he did his best & the fans rage is taken out on the SFA instead of Whyte, Green, Murray, Duff & Phelps ... where it should be.

    The End Is Nigh

  4. the way I see this the SFA have two clear options

    A. revoke Rangers SFA licence in the next 7 days meaning they can't play in the SPL or SFA, Rangers would be dead, any new team would have to apply for the vacant SFL place, there would be no share to transfer - would the SFA be happy to award a new rangers a new licence though?

    B. sit it out & risk a real possibility of Celtic & Motherwell kicked out the CL, Hearts, Dundee Utd & St Johnstone booted out the EL, Scotland punted out the WC Qualifiers & the SPL & the SFL barred from running a league next season.

Pull the trigger on these clowns now. If you though you were being kicked when you were down before you're in for a wee shock when Platini rocks up

  5. Was this on the programme? My stream went down for a few minutes.

My (limited) understanding of this is that managers are incentivised at certain clubs for transfer deals so it's not necessarily a problem.

sorry, I meant Souness was payed £30k BY RANGERS while manager of Blackburn (for no documented reason) a couple of weeks later they signed Tugay

paying an opposition manager to sign your player is the allegation that's being made & is illegal

  6. Furthermore I don't buy that he didn't have a passport. He runs an international business and probably takes 'vacation' overseas. that was just an excuse for not coming to Scotland any time soon. Someone with his money can probably get a passport in 24 hrs if needed.

only 1/3rd of Americans have a passport, when you live in such a big country there's no need, you can visit any climate you care to think of within it's borders

  7. I dunno about you guys, but I hope that they do get an agreement on a CVA dependent on Whyte GTF, then they somehow convince Whyte to do the right thing & he agrees to hand his shares over.

at which point the SFA whap their schlongs on the table & announce that both Mr Murray & Mr Kennedy have failed the new stringent fit & proper persons test & the shares remain with Whyte

  8. I think someone points it out there.

Rule 1 refers to a member club as a whole- which was not-proven apparently. However rule 2 is referring that the staff, players and officials which is what they were punished under. In accordance with rule one, means they must be subject to the same rules set down in rule 1, not that you need to be guilty under both.

That would be my take on it.

aye, rule 1 is 'rangers' as a club, rule 2, most likely, is their chairman not acting according to the rules, while he is being punished seperately there is still as aspect of the club being accountable for the actions of its chairman/staff - something they're having trouble dealing with

  9. Plus there is still the verdict from the SPL on Monday to come as well as HMRC's ruling. I dread what is going to happen after those are delivered, its certainly not going to be civil or pleasant from the thugs and brain-dead morons out there who despite everything still believe that Rangers have done little wrong, and its just because they are the Gers that this is all happening.

the sad fact is that they wont beable to comprehend the notion of being handed sanctions & fines by different people for different things, they're already struggling with 'no one else was given a 12 month transfer embargo for being in administration' being incapable of realising the embargo is due to not paying PAYE & NI for the last year.

They'll just grunt about how they're being punished multiple times for the same thing & how they 'hold their hands up and admit we did wrong' but refuse any sort of punishment. Keevins, Traynor, Young et al will just go alongs & say 'yes that does seem unfair'
