Seems odd, especially after turning down Valetta, hes 32 with no pro experience with a club willing to give him a go. Ive determined he suffers from delusions of grandeur, hes been to the top of the Athletics world and he seems to really rate himself as a footballer, despite his only golas came against a hastily put together side of amateur/ semi pro footballers. He won't get a gig in any meaningful league, id expect him to turn up in the Indian or Chinese league

If you'd go down the route of regions, who would be in the Western HAL2? Fremantle FC, Perth SC, Adelaide City FC, a Darwin team? There's still the cost of travel in a Western League. I still think either a airline needs to come aboard or the government to subsidise to make a second tier viable. Its crazy that Hockey gets more money thrown at it here than football

The second tier is needed but one of the stumbling blocks that i see is the cost to travel, unless the FFA and HAL team up with a airline to subsidise travel costs its going to be an enormous expense for the clubs to travel.

A-League round one this weekend and im going to the Glory v Wanderes game, cant wait. As for the expansion news, im dissapointed that Wolves got cut but im not surprised at all. Just hope Canberra is one of the two chosen

One week to go until round 1, looking forward to live competitive football again! As for Bolt, he'll get a contract, It'll be too good a financial boost for CCM to pass on. Anyway prediction for the season, Sydney to win the minor, Glory to finish 4th and finally get a home finals game, and Brissy to finish last with Taggert being injured for most of the season.

Going along to watch Western Australian State Division 1 winner's Rockingham FC play Perth Glory FC in a friendly on wednesday at the ridiculous kick off time of 1615 Should be a entertaining game, especially with Rockingham winning the title last week and gaining WA NPL status. Seems like a good deal by CCM as Ross McCormick saying he would like to play with Bolt at CCM, and Tommy Oar now being linked with CCM. If they pull off McCormick and Oar that would be two very good players for CCM
