  1. imagune writing to Stewart Reagan because a ref missed a handball in a match your team won

    What a sad c**t.

I've met Joe O'Rourke two or three times and kind of got the feeling he views himself as an unofficial voice of the entire Celtic support, not quite in the same league as that tosser Matt McGlone who used to work for the Celtic View and writes his own rubbish fanzine but a bit of a rent-a-gub

He did buy me a pint once mind you so he's kind of okay I guess :D

  2. Joe O'semi-colon on Celtic being cheated for 1596th time this year.

    -------------

How many times do we have to shout out loud that we are being cheated by some of the so-called top officials in Scottish Football?

Saturday at Motherwell was another such case; and it involved a serial cheat going by the name of Alan Muir.

You would have thought that after apparently not seeing a hand ball from three yards away in the semi-final of the showpiece football tournament in Scotland he would try harder in the future.

Well the case for honest mistakes has been well and truly blown out of the water by this particular official.

I was at the game on Saturday and was surprised by the way the officials organised themselves. It looked as though Muir was making all the decisions. And the stand side linesman was only flagging once the decision was made; that may explain why the hand ball penalty was not awarded.

I think it now time for Celtic Football Club to demand that Mr Muir doesnt officiate at any more of our matches. The only alternative to that is for him to be demoted due to his incompetence.

We totally dominated the match on Saturday; especially in the first half and should have been well ahead by half time. But due to Mr Muirs incompetence or cheating we could have dropped points, does any Celtic Supporter think if the two penalty incidents had happened in our box the decisions would have been different? I believe so; it was two stone wall penalties; and at least one if not two red cards to Motherwell players.

I have written to Stewart Regan again this morning; and again Im not expecting a response from him. There are serial offenders against us; Muir is joined by the likes of Thomson, Collum, Mc Lean, and Dallas, who regularly make decisions not based on honest judgement.

The only other explanation is that we have the largest number of incompetent football officials in European Football; and while that could be possible; it is highly unlikely.

The claim that it is only Honest Mistakes doesnt hold water. It is happening far too regularly for that to be the case. The SFA Head of Referees John Fleming say that the officials are accountable; well why doesnt he have them explain any contentious decisions after something like thirty minutes after a match has finished?

No chance of that; they are bullet proof. If a player has a howler he most likely will find himself out of the team (except for Efe) the next game. More needs to be done to explain these types of decisions. I suspect they dont want to do that for a simple reason; there is no reasonable explanation to make; so therefore its Blatant Cheating

  3. 1 - Jeremy Bamber. Convicted of killing his family in 1985 on virtually f**k all evidence

2 - Luke Mitchell. Laddie's a bit odd, must have been him then despite not a shred of forensic evidence

3 - Micheal Ross. Seemed to be found guilty for no other reason than he was into guns and military shit. An eyewitness suddenly recalled seeing him do it twenty years later!!!

4 - Tommy Sheridan. Clearly lied during his libel trial as the Sun/NOTW would never make up pish and induce people to lie

5 - Mickey Steel/Jack Whomes. Convicted of the 1995 Range Rover murders in Essex based solely on the testimony of a paid police informer who had a history of consistently lying in court

  4. There's a more than reasonable case to be made for raising ticket prices for either mob of sectarian thugs by as much as it takes to keep the whole fucking lot of them where they belong - scattered across Scotland wherever weaklings desire vicarious validation, and at the other end of the ferry route to Cairnryan. A bold initiative by Killie, for a change, and one which should be welcomed by any locality which has to suffer regular visits from these Neanderthals.

    Thats me telt then :(

  5. That's the Celtic support in general since rangers died though. I don't think there will be a "drastically reduced" crowd at all.

Excluding Pittodrie and Tynecastle where both clubs as is there right have cut our allocation to get more home fans in we still sell most/all our away allocation.

The Dundee clubs, Motherwell, St Johnstone, Partick etc etc all have pretty much a full away Celtic support at these grounds, Kilmarnock dont and the numbers are getting less and less every game there, I go to about 75% of away games and have noticed this, our bus always has at least ten spare tickets every game there which often I have to flog outside the ground so our supporters club arent £200+ out of pocket, we take betwern 30 & 40 tickets each away game except Hearts and Aberdeen for obvious reasons but always struggle to shift the Rugby Park tickets, nowhere else is this an issue

  6. What Celtic fans, including yourself, are missing is that when your club comes to town the cost of policing the game goes up substantially.

For matches involving Celtic (and Rangers FWIW), Kilmarnock (and any other club) needs to pay for the police to cover: within the stadium itself; the turnstiles; the area immediately around the stadium; the streets surrounding the locus; local transport hubs i.e. train and bus stations. Given the size of crowds and their reputation for trouble, that can't be done with six or seven officers.

If we look at the 2-2 game earlier in the season, Killie had to pay for police officers from Glasgow to bolster the local force. When every one of these officers has a set cost attached to them, which the club must cover, you can start to understand why ticket costs have to be increased. To put it into context, Kilmarnock have had games this season when we've needed no police officers to attend.

Then we need to look at stewards. Each club has a contract with stewarding companies, and will specify in the build up to any game how many bodies they need. For an average league game, lets say against St Johnstone e.g. the breakdown is something like this...

    • Three stewards at East Stand turnstiles. Three stewards at Frank Beattie stand turnstiles (home). Three stewards at Frank Beattie/Moffat Stand turnstiles (away).
    • Two stewards per stand in prior to kick-off.
    • Two stewards to police players/'VIP' entrances.
So, that's about 15-17 stewards on any given Saturday. When Celtic come to town, that figure is per stand housing Celtic fans.

This screenshot from the YouTube full-match coverage

shows four police officers and four stewards policing two stairwells.

If Celtic fans had a history of behaving impeccably then this wouldn't be necessary. Alas, having spent my childhood living on Scott Road, and having a mum who still stays there to this day, I can assure you that the policing is often still not enough. You mention the buses being parked "a fucking mile away", so can I ask why your support feels the need to pish in gardens, smash bottles or leave empty ones in gardens, break car windows, key cars etc during your 0.4 mile (7 minute) walk to your bus?

Like a kid who wants pocket money but has been a wee arsehole lately - prove you can be trusted and then we can help you out. Until then, shut your fucking mouth about "Bhoycotts" or clubs "taking liberties" and worry more about you and your supporter's behaviour. There is after all, a reason why even a lot of season ticket holders don't attend games against you lot.

Bloody hell thats a hell of a lot of complex detailed info you have there QLP, did you get it from Tamara? ;)

While I take on board the point about extra police etc the fact is Killie already sell a good few thousand extra tickets for this fixture making a decent swedge from the visiting fans, its a bit rich to then bung on an extra fiver a ticket and say its to cover additional costs. I mean say maximum 30 extra police for this fixture for say 4 hours work...if Killie are charging an extra fiver times say 4000 tickets..... are you seriously trying to tell me the club have to fork out £20,000 for a few hours of police and Stewards while we all know the latter get payed about £6 an hour...the numbers and sums dont add up, the club are basicaly trying to fleece a few grand extra from the fixture.

A moot point around this issue though... why should Kilmarnock or any football club have to pay for coppers to be at train stations or car parks, in the street etc?? Is that not what individuals and clubs themselves pay taxes for. Do the Orange Order pay for the police to supervise their parades in the summer? Do political parties pay for them to attend rallies in city centres?

On your final point, I've been to probably over 20 fixtures at Rugby Park and while I've seen the odd bit of litter being dropped (cans, bottles, food wrappers etc) on the walk to and from the ground I've never once seen peoples gardens being used as toilets, cars being scratched, windows being smashed etc. I suspect you are dropping this in and as its one of the Old Firm people will happily believe it, there are a few nuggets in our away support but ive never once seen peoples gardens, cars, homes being vandalised in the manner you implicate at Rugby Park or anywhere else
