Interesting weekend, 2 games which should have been comfortable after we flew out the traps, 3 up on Edinburgh, 2 up on Dundee and still nearly manage to throw them away. Another weekend of very poor officiating. What's going on with Toby? It's as if he's being fined for giving penalties. Even a Caps player flattening (and injuring) our keeper didn't merit a penalty on Saturday. Then you had Halas on Sunday who watched as our keeper was flattened once again for the Stars 1st goal. Another couple of PP goals though, which has been something we've really struggled with. Not holding my breath for a result against the Panthers on Wednesday..

Another Jekyll and Hyde weekend from the Clan, standard. From the worst performance of the year on Saturday (yet still only lost by 2!?) to a determined, confident performance last night. You just don't know what Clan you're going to get from game to game. The players actually look more comfortable playing away from Home! Really wanted to strangle a few Stars fans last night, that one woman with the screeching voice calling everyone under the sun "a fanny". Was good to see the Stars fans constant shouts for too many men penalties every time there was a line change backfire. 3 PP goals from the Clan last night. Mental.

Hendrikx had a wee spell where I thought he was really coming onto a game but very quickly went back to his "can't be arsed" kinda play. Hopefully it'll be another successful change like the Ulmer/Hammond. Hammond is class and his play very often suggests he should be playing at a higher level. I suspect we'll probably see a few more changes over the next few weeks, it's surely just got to be a matter of time before Ahsberg is punted! Looking forward to getting back into the arena this weekend, although the folk down the front few rows must dread the Teddy Toss each year!

You'll get good earplugs from Boots for no more than a couple of quid. I used them for band practices, and I'll wear them to certain gigs (like metal gigs in the garage)

Went down to Manchester to see Hundred Reasons and Hell Is For Heroes on Friday, part of a re-union/anniversary tour. Both bands played their 10 year old albums in full. Absolutely tremendous show, Hell Is For Heroes in particular, such a shame that they didn't get the breaks that a few others did and ended up splitting.
