Think we just about edged what was a very poor game mainly due to Randall’s chances as they were about the only chances in the whole game! How he sky’s that 2nd one is beyond me, about the only positive I can take is we looked solid defensively especially as Grieve and Mandron looked lively, safe travels to the st mirren fans tremendous support considering it’s midweek and a fair old trek.
onwards and upwards won’t be remembering that one in a hurry

If they were hoping to save money they could easily ask the likes of staggies view or county corner for commentary , I’m sure that would work for both parties, if their was a suitable way of watching tonight via a stream I’d definitely pay for it maybe the general demand isn’t there though?

Partick at home in the Scottish cup , I’ll take that considering the potential opponents

Couldn’t make the game but a point will do until the manager gets a proper feel for the squad, judging by stats looked like we had slightly more of the game

Really can’t see us losing in Derek’s first game back, killie won’t be easy though as our previous match proved.
interested to see how we line up, personally I’d keep it similar but revert to the back 4 and find a way to get turner and dhanda playing together

My only concern was the mess of a squad he left behind the last time with some of the worst players I’ve ever laid my eyes upon
Agree with this but hoping he has learnt and gained contacts from leagues 1&2 in England, as you said the squad he left us with before was shocking but at least this time at county he has the foundation of a pretty good team here

I don’t really know why but I am buzzing about this , must be the fact all our fans can unite again and hopefully he can bring us back some memories like he did before (cup final, promotion and top 6 finish)

Good spirit getting back to 4-4 from 3 down, pitch was in a bit of a state so pretty hard to play decent football , clach have a lot of work to do if they want to avoid the bottom spots

Neilson would’ve been a good shout if he hadn’t just got a job, Dodds is completely laughable he was sacked along with macintyre as assistant here then also sacked by caley who are a league below us. The mind boggles how some folk can come to these conclusions

The BbC halfwit of choice has “predicted” Ian Murray, David Martindale or Jim McIntyre. I can safely say it’ll be none of those.
First two are possibilities (although neither would be my choice), but McIntyre is a complete joke of a prediction

I'd like to see John Hughes get one more spin personally as someone watching on from the outside.
He did save us from relegation and I’m sure he would again but definitely can’t see us going back, the style of football wasn’t particularly appealing

Sacking Mackay to appoint Lennon would be very Roy , I don’t know if I could watch us under Lennon either

Why were we wearing the white kit from last season on Saturday? I thought the maroon “effort” was this seasons away kit

Was mackay in the dugout today?

We’ve scored 5 in our last 2 games and appear to be turning a corner, in saying this if we defend like we did against Motherwell then Celtic will win at a canter.
should be fascinating and as we’ve seen in the past it can go any which way
i’ll go 1-1 with Murray scoring

Reminds me of a lot of traits we saw in Jordan White.
Don’t pretend you wouldn’t take Jordan White back in a heartbeat

The 3 goals we conceded against Motherwell were all very avoidable, if we are going to stand a chance against hibs we will need to tighten up the defence, let’s hope for Murray and Brophy starting again as no harm to white but these two are both a handful with their pace.
would take a draw but anything can happen

Tbf we have bigger week to week attendances than both Livi and St Johnstone

You've just described your own club there, mate.
Been down once in the last 11 years , straight back up too.

Wouldn't be so sure about that. It's not an 'effort' either, simply my opinion.
How many will you be bringing down for this? Can we expect triple figures?
A game that sucks the energy out what's been a positive start to the season for Dundee. A reason why many want to see relegation for your diddy club. Nonetheless a win would be massive and one thing is for sure - the best player on the pitch will be playing for the home side at left back.
Thank You.
We may not bring triple figures but at least we bring some character and a decent away day to the league, much better than being a yo-yo team that largely plays 2nd fiddle to their rivals
It’s subjective but if Ross county’s number 10 plays the way he can you’ll be seeing the best player on the park take 3 points back to the highlands

Brophy should be given game time, unless still sluggish from injury? Don't get whats going on there.
Samuel as well needs a start, totally deserves it. Malky needs to give others more an opportunity otherwise they will leave.
Agree regarding Samuel he adds something very different , Brophy we obviously need to be careful with
further regarding Baldwin I think he’s actually out 3rd choice centre half now if we revert to a back 4 I’d rather have nightingale and Leak than baldwin, really hoping we can keep nightingale he’s class

Hope josh sims is ok it looked a nasty one and by all accounts he was having a decent match.
kind of agree about Baldwin above, why though with 3 centre halfs are we left so badly exposed like that Baldwin had to foul there or the chances are aberdeen go 2-0 up, Pity as thought we started the game well enough, pains me to say it but a cracker from shinnie
last 20 mins really encouraging and on the whole did well with 10 men, Samuel an absolute breath of fresh air and did fantastic to win the spot kick which turner dispatched superbly

Ross county 3-0 Ross county tribute act
seriously impressed with us tonight it was a Joy to watch, Dhanda’s goal was a lovely finish, not a single complaint about any player all played well although I would say Allardice is really growing into form after a slow start to his county career same could be said for purrington.
nightingale red card looked soft and was completely unneeded considering our position in the game
if Kelly is Scotland’s 3rd choice then Laidlaw must be very close behind a few more decent saves tonight and a clean sheet
only slight grumble I have is why not use all 5 subs give a young lad a run when we are 3-0 with 5 minutes to go
