Was Macpherson actually good or just an improvement on the normal dross he churns out? It’s a wee bit concerning that our standards have dropped enough to be saying he made a difference unless it was a huge uplift in performance from the usual.

I’ve been this way for months. 150 mile round trip only to sit in silence all the way home raging isn’t floating my boat at all. Last away game was Tynecastle when we got pumped and I’ve been to 2 home games since. I bought tickets for the playoff games and couldn’t bring myself to travel so I sat in the house with a carry out for both games.

The big thing with Callum is his willingness to shift blame onto his players. It’s weak management and I resent it bitterly. He’s an arrogant b*****d imo. I knew him personally in the 90’s and this sums up what I thought of him then. I’ve met loads of people involved with the club over the years and only had 3 I didn’t like. He is one of them along with Roddy and Alan Kernaghan. Callum and Kernaghan were arrogant b*****ds and Roddy was thick as shit, they were all hard to deal with working in the licensed trade. I’ve been going to saints games since 1980 and this is the first time I’ve ever decided not to go to games. The football is really poor and the squad is getting weaker every season. We have taken a position of strength and turned it into celebrating a 2-4 win in Elgin which is pretty disappointing stuff. The recruitment has been shite although I think Drey, Jamie Murphy and Carey are decent signings to supplement the squad. They shouldn’t be our marquee signings given what has been achieved over the last 10-12 years. My conclusion is that Callum is out of his depth but thinks otherwise because he’s an arrogant little p***k. His background staff are all arse licking him and the directors are walking into a disaster because of the 2 cups. Thanks for the cups but please leave before you relegate us.

The stand out thing for me with Callum and the current set up is arrogance. It’s all blatantly half arsed and this is making me seriously angry. Bounce games are not the issue the underlying current of complacency is the key to this. The guy and his back room team need to either work like f**k to fix it or get in the sea. It’s unbelievable how a double cup winning manager can piss of such a large chunk of the support so quickly. That’s a personality issue I think.
