I quite like Lewis, never seems to take anyone or himself really seriously, unlike Taylor. Plus, I think there's every chance him and Anderson would probably produce a 9 darter, they both play quickly which will suit each other's games. Ps, quite shocked Barney won that set, hopefully this has another few sets in it!

Lewis is absolutely pummelling that treble 20. Barney looks a shadow of the man who put MVG out, except for the 2 161s. He just doesn't look confident approaching doubles, Lewis has missed over 20 and still has a higher percentage, that's mental!

That's it, some people don't fancy the pressure of being away from home constantly, and not being able to spend as much time with their family etc. There's no doubt it would've been interesting to see how he faired, he's a good player, but if I'm being honest I think he'd have struggled playing against the likes of Taylor, MVG, Ando and Lewis every week.

To be fair, he's always been a/the big fish in a small pond, and he still gets a fair whack for winning the BDO tournaments. Maybe he wasn't willing to give up being top man to move into potential relative obscurity.

Standard barring a few players is poor in comparison with the PDC. The PDC market and show the event far better than the BDO too. You might see an improvement once BT get their way with it.

Gary Anderson looks excellent here, absolutely destroying Wade here. The 9 darter would've been the cherry on top.

Norris is playing extremely well (as is Klaasen), but I just think he's playing without stress and expectation. I'll go Norris, Anderson, Lewis and Smith to go through.

I think Smith v Lewis would be an absolute belter of a match. Similar players with similar rhythms, they'd suit playing each other and I think there's every chance it could produce a 9 darter.

There's a few that are shocking, how bad is Suljovic's throw? Each to their own though and if it works for them then fair play. Klaasen's throw looks awkward but he's been quite consistent of late, every chance of breaking in to the top 10 this year.

Can't see Chisnall not being in the Premier League, especially after that and the fact he made the semis this year. What a match that was though. On another note, how bad was Webster's stance? Looked like he was off balance and going to fall over after every dart. I know he's been like that for a while but it looked worse tonight imo. Hopefully Taylor gets pumped now.

One of the best matches I've ever seen. Fancy Lewis to win it now, but would love Anderson to get his 2nd.
