Happy to give you back a fiver for the sake of your mental wellbeing mate.
Thats very kind of you in the season of good will to all mankind. I would be delighted if you would donate it to a well deserving charity in your area.
Thanks very much.

He may well be but I doubt some of the diehard fans will be. Let's see how the chairman reacts when the revenue coming through the turnstiles starts dropping
Especially at £18 a pop to watch a dross manager and the dross served up on the park. (Sorry guys still hurting and lighter in the pocket).

GOSH ANOTHER ROSE PENALTY TODAY !
The penalty was rightly awarded for a pull back. Jonny Stewart is an honest player.
We knocked and knocked on the door yesterday whilst the Braves kept it tightly shut. Football justice was server in stoppage time when big Kieron rose to head in the winner. The scenes then were fantastic and such a relief for the effort that was put in. Well done The Rose.

I don't think we'll see a real answer to the question. In the same way they were allowed to move the game to Ibrox for a one-off game in the first place. They've obviously been given a certain amount of leeway.
From what I have seen and read no reason has been given for the cancellation.
Move the game to the big stadium get a bigger crowd in and more money(as one poster said last week “will get them their £25k back”). So because crowds are capped they cancel it to wait for the restrictions to be lifted. Or have the Glesga Polis had their say? When the game is rescheduled they should be told to play it at their nominated ground ie Dumbarton. Even at this level the ugly sisters keeping their control over Scottish football. They are taking the piss.

Well it’s a cold damp raw winters day. Get wrapped up wearing my new Rose scarf and bobble hat. Look forward to the game which as usual will be tough. Hope the players didn’t have too much turkey yesterday and are raring to go. Last match at NDP this year and hopefully another 3pts in the bag come 3pm.

I thank all the 3 fans from Alloa for their seasonal greetings( not my moaning greetings) and the humour with which it is delivered and received. Hope you all have a very jolly festive season and prosperous New Year( that’s easy at £18 per pop). Tidings to all.

Was £7 on Saturday.
If VoL are setting about shafting Rangers fans, then that only serves to make them all the more likeable
Likeable they may be, but they also voted to allow the OF Colts entry to the LL. Maybe they are seeking revenge and shafting the OF fans(+ their own) to see the game.

Bottom line - we were a shadow of the Alloa teams from the last 5-10 seasons. Question is .... Do the board see the same as the paying punter??
Do the board even go to the games to see the rubbish the paying punter is subjected to?

Well it was a long journey home in the dark after a well earned 3pts yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised at the effort that Gretna put in without causing us any trouble until the last minute. The Rose were comfortable winners and Captain Jonny scoring his usual seasons good goal. Thought the playing surface was decent and Gretna still have the wheely portable goals that caused controversy in “Spartangate “ earlier in the season.

So our second LL. is it to Gretna today, grass pitch the first time in 2019 this time an artificial surface. Doesn’t matter what type of surface surely a few goals and 3pts for the Big Rose come 5pm tonight. Making the journey as we do not know if fans will be admitted to grounds after today.

Well it was rather nippy watching the game yesterday as both teams put on a good show. The Uni of Stirling always give us a difficult game and I certainly like their attitude whilst playing the game. They deserve a bit of credit for their performance after all their travel in the last few weeks. The Rose played well and it was a fine strike from Bradley which ultimately gave us three hard earned very welcome points.
It’s back on the road next Saturday to Gretna for the last away match of 2021 which I would expect to go ahead with them now having an all weather surface. The faithful will continue with their travels(better than Christmas shopping).C’mon The Rose

You can give the away team 100% of the match tickets cos the home fans won’t pay an inflated price for a match ticket.

Seeing as I’ve read seven pages of boundary hysteria, I’m changing my picks. The Lowland in five years will consist of:
East Kilbride
Spartans
Rangers B
Celtic B
Brechin City
Aberdeen B
Elgin City
Brora Rangers
Fort William
Orkney
Wick Academy
Sleat and Strath FC
New Pitsligo
Caley Braves
Darvel
Brechin Victoria
So that means 10 current clubs in the LL will make up SPFL 2 and the rest at level 6 or below!!!

No problem with me we were well beaten by the hosts. A lesson for the Rose today. Well done Alloa.
P.S I’m now sitting at home with a cuppa.

At least you will get to park free at Morrisons, contact the club and let them know how you feel , please ?
A Rose victory would save me contacting your rip off club. Bye leaving for the match now.

So will be on the road shortly for the journey to Alloa. Be well wrapped up of course. Grudgingly pay the rip off £18 the hosts are charging for the match , look forward to the Rose to give Mulraney and Ferguson a reality check.

I am just getting ready to leave home to travel to the match. Wife and 2 kids staying at home due to the excessive admission charge . I won’t be buying a programme or having a cuppa and pie , Mulraney can shove it. Thank God the wind has dropped a bit.

I'm pleased that there is no game today after last nights storm. I was lucky to only have my front and rear fences blown down and some slight roof damage.
I think I'll cosy up with my dog on the sofa, with a pie and a bovril, to watch the Lionesses play at 12.30. That should keep me nice n warm.
Then after that you could pay the rip off £18 to watch the live stream of Alloa v The Big Rose!!!

We are supporters and will be there but it does nothing to entice other people to the game, especially how poor the football and atmosphere has been.
I will also be giving it a miss. £18 is a ridiculous price for a team from the lowland league. This is no disrespect to Bonnyrigg who may well beat us anyway.
And if we do win the game we will be doing your club a big favour by giving the club a reason to sack the manager. They will be able to pay up his contract from the exorbitant admission fee for the game.

And Alloa the rip off merchants are even charging £18 entry to their Scottish Cup tie next week against the Big Rose. £10 for concessions and kids. So gonna cost £56 for me, the missus and 2 kids to attend the game next week plus pergola money and any other ancillary expenses for the day. Think I may be selfish and put them off attending, and having second thoughts myself rather than make a donation to them rip off merchants. I would rather donate the £56 to Children in Need.

Is that to save Camelon a big electric bill or is your new manager scared of the dark?

Well you thieving, money grabbing so and sos. Charging £18 ( £10 for concessions) for entry to the forth coming Scottish cup tie. That’s a great way to encourage visiting fans from any League, promote football and the Scottish Cup. Is that how you pay your rubbish manager and super star players, robbing the fans at the gate? Or do you pay your tenants a retainer if you get drawn against a Lowland League to help keep them in existence.
It will certainly make me think very seriously about attending the game and getting ripped off.

Do you think the paying public will get an answer to your second sentence? I will keep my cynical response to myself. They are the OF Colts and can treat this League with the disrespect they have all season. They have 11/12 games left in the season and still have to play each other twice!!!
