I knew after watching the cove game with our last minute equaliser that the team felt different to previous seasons. The fight they showed that game despite really bad referee I think set us up for season ahead
For me it was Morrison's last minute belter against Montrose - a bit later! That's the point I knew for certain this team was different.

Very frustrating first half! We an do better than all these aimless crosses.

Just saw this on the club's Twitter page and so I thought that I would repost it.
if you aren't already a member, would any other overseas Bairns fans consider joining the FSS?
I'm already a member but somehow not on the map

Not really. Absolutely brutal game of “football”.

Think we should make 5 changes at halftime

What. the. absolute. f$%k. Can only hope there won't be that kind of massive personnel and formation change again.

Thanks for coming out guys
Personally I didn't think that was a penalty and I had a good view but when you're at the bottom and Falkirk are at the top them's the breaks.
There is no way that was a penalty - but something had to give, twice off the bar etc. Flip me.

Yeah, I think everyone would love the stadium to get completed. But that’s sort of the point I’m making if we could get back into the premiership and average 5.5k -6k home fans for a run of the mill premiership game. Then big games like local derbys, or Scottish cup quarter finals could attract even more fans, then at that point a fourth stand is both economically sensible and financial viable. I think for most fans a forth stand is an absolute pipe dream but the point I’m trying to make it that maybe, just maybe we aren’t actually that far away from it. Yes yes, not even promoted out of league 1 yet and I’m getting far too ahead of myself.
I always wonder if it couldn’t just be plain old terracing? Not sure what the rules are on that these days. It might be cheaper to build?

Cheers for the good feedback & views so far for this weeks episode
It's been great to have the podcast, maybe even more so for folk like me who live abroad and don't get many chances to chat about the games. Appreciate it! (especially when we are winning!).

Does anybody know if the match tomorrow will be on FTV? (Yes, I know I need a VPN). On the website now and only seems to be giving me an audio option?
There's a view option on the website now.

Time for an update to the villain? Paul Hartley scans pretty well.
I also seem to remember "mistletoe and wine" was changed to "lager and lime" haha.

I remember Big Joe punting the ball into Watson Street on a regular basis! Clearing his lines
He was a classy footballer though

Yep, it was well worth setting the alarm for 2.30am, what a performance. And besides, Saturday today, a long lie-in or do you work Saturdays?
Aye not always but work today. Looking forward to watching the whole thing with a dram this evening!

I like Lewis. Lewis and the new guy would be a good duo. The new platform isnt up to much for me. No replays after goals, breaks alot, and uses Fifepay for subs.
Thought the camera work was pretty bad. No zooming to the far side of the pitch means it is hard to follow what is going on. Still, better than nothing and the commentators are pretty good.

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but isn't the Falkirk badge based on the Grahamston Church on Bute Street, rather than the Steeple in the town?
Also seen two conflicting stories that it was either John Prentice or Willie McFarlane that created the original drawing
It looks like you could see the church from the main stand
Could that be the church featured on the programme from the 60s?
Interesting! The Grahamston church certainly looks more like the image on the badge. Also I had never seen the shed side of the ground without a roof before!
