  1. Nice one mate!!!!!!! B) B) B)

    Cheers

Well, I won the most undeserved tenner ever from 20 on Stevenage, as they were aaaabsolute shite. So up yours.

Seriously though, nice one ya lucky c**t.

    Ta.

Was so sad, I took a photo of my win :ph34r:

  2. The paint cup I really couldn't care about, but tonight was different as we would have had Hartlepool in the next round and then who knows maybe Man Ure in the 3rd round, which would bring in a massive amount of money, so I'm angry about the defeat tonight and if as I now suspect Wise decided not to make the players give 100%, then he MUST be held accountable.

Leeds monkeys always quick to point out there great crowds. Tonight not so good eh. Could be your average get next season if you don't go up

Granted bigger then most others, but most other club's don't boast about getting 7,000 most weeks

  3. Oh well looks like first home defeat tonight in the Johnson something cup, can't say I'm upset as I didn't even know we were playing till Sky Sports told me!

De Costa sent off and I reckon the lad will be gone by the end of the season, looks very fast but also looks like he only likes sunny, warm weather...

We were beat 1-2 and just under 19,000 attended the game at ER..amazing crowd for a pathetic cup.

Johnstones Paint - Pathetic cup, 18,000+ v Bury

Tonight FA Cup - 11,000 v Hereford

  4. Our Goalkeeper off injured, and replaced by a young chap called David Lucas. Oh Shit.

Is he young? A David Lucas used to be Preston and England u21 keeper. Will be mid-late 20's now. Sure it is not him?

    Come on Hereford

Looks like we may have a derby match v Forest Green if they win tonight. All be it a boring derby. Unlike us v Bristol Rovers this saturday (does not top Swindon v Oxford though)

  5. YOUR TO BLAME....

Even worse for us. We signed Mark Robinson for about £650,000 off Newcastle one of the worst players I have ever seen. As bad as the left back we signed off Newcastle for £300,000 Jason Drysdale, truley the worst player I have ever seen. And to complete a trio of bad North East England signings, David Duke from sunderland, utter mince and played over 100 games for us. Think he now loiters in Darlington reserves.

  6. One of the poorest players I remember playing for Leeds was David Kerslake. I remember we sold him to someone for some dosh and bought him back a few seasons later, he was drivel, I think he went to Swindon after us.

    Incorrect.

We sold him to you . Think Leeds then sold him to Spurs.

  7. I will lay off Leeds as not anti Leeds. A postive comment now, one of my fondest memories was a Tony Yeboah strike for Leeds v Liverpool about 10 years ago, a fantastic strike about 30 yards out. Any victory over Liverpool I enjoy.

Worst was when you lost to Oxford years ago in the cup, going back quite a few years, as I think Jim Magilton scored for them. Ah well justice has been served with them loitering in the conference with there c18 loving supporters.

  8. Just been informed that Shaun Derry has been loaned to Crystal Palace for 2 months.

My mate wants Wise out for the very purpose he does not play Shaun Derry. Despite him approaching 27 he has had his Leeds Utd Calander of 2005 stuck permantly in his kitchen with Shaun Derry on for the month of December

  9. I have always believed these things balance themselves out throughout the season, Leeds could argue the same at 2 or 3 away games this season and in particular last season.

Leeds were very lucky at home to Orient this season too (1st match that springs to mind). Good goal again dissalowed and a very harsh red card.

  10. No mention of the clear goal Swindon had dissalowed for handball, despite Cox clearly heading the ball. The ref showed bias towards Leeds throughout the whole match (a rare match which i did not attend due to Scotland). Swindon had 7 players booked. Ref was a joke. Look forward to march in Swindon. You will go up, but will be nice to put one over Leeds before they do so. Then the real work starts for Wise.

  11. We were beat 1-2 and just under 19,000 attended the game at ER..amazing crowd for a pathetic cup.

Got to bite at that comment. You sound like a OF supporter with that comment. For us small club supporters we are never going to win a FA or League Cup, so that is our most realistic chance of a day out. Whilst it wouldn't be heart breaking if you lost in the final, it would still be a nice day out, especially if you won. Also a nice treat for the Bury players tonight, getting the chance to play on a stage such as Ellend road in front of 19,000.

You don't even know your own team's fixtures

Well done Bury. Wish we took the competition more seriously, knocked out in the 2nd round v Cheltenham. Would love a trip to a cup final, even if it is the johnstones paint

  13. Come on, at the rate we are going we could be champions by February.

I fear you're right. Will be a nightmere for me as my mate is a Leeds fan. Despite there 15 point disadvantage, I wouldn't take him up on a bet that Leeds would finish higher then Swindon and i gamble on everything. Had to settle for betting against my mate who supports QPR and hoping at Swindon finish in a higher posisition then them (despite different leagues)

  14. Don't work for Leeds United so don't know how the ticket allocation works, that said I would imagine that the ticket marketing lad for the club has looked at the average away support from all the clubs and put an extra 10% due to it being at Leeds and come up with a number that should let all those wishing to attend the chance of doing so, if as you say Swindon want more then I would imagine that they haven't been given them due to the interest of Leeds fans for the game and as the away support has been in the corner yellow seats this season, I think the club is right to make sure their own fans are accommodated first. Not sure why this is being "tight."? Annoying for those who miss out, yes, but not tight, to be honest it has happened to Leeds most of this season when our away fans are usually more than the home teams home support.

In the past most teams got the behind the goal area. You're ground holds round 40,000. You could easily put 3,000 extra there. There will only be round 30,000 at the match, thus leaving 10,000 spare seats in the Leeds end. Glamour will fade off next season when you are in league 1 again

  15. Tight old Leeds. You need the money, yet only give Swindon 1,800 tickets. Swindon sold these out and not getting anymore. I sold my ticket to a mate, due to it clashing with Scotland v Italy. Country 1st.

Still tight of Leeds, by sounds of it, we could have easily sold over 3,000 tickets. Most the away fans never bother though, so f**k em, give me a trip to Chesterfield to stand in the open terrace behind the goal over a glamour team any day of the week

  16. Leeds are the big boys in League 1. Whilst it will be hard to have a pop at Leeds, all the clubs will get numbers and have a pop at Leeds on home soil. Think Millwall who did, will be only one of a few who will take a proper firm there and go looking for it.

Matches v Huddersfield and Forest (although Forest have a hell of alot banned at the moment and think the Bristol City incident from last season is still on going) could be interesting.

  17. Lucky for Leeds they got rid of Neil Sullivan. He was in goal for Doncaster away at Swindon yesterday. Zaboub for change put in another useless cross which trickled along the floor, which somehow Sullivan managed to let slip through his body, hit the back of his heels and spin out causing a goal mouth scramble allowing Cox to score for Swindon to make it 1-1 (had him to score 1st at 7/1 :()

To be fair, all 3 goals in that match were all keeper and defensive erros. A rareity from me, but we did deserve to lose, so can't complain at Doncaster going back up north with all 3 points.
