  1. This is the complex outside the Eagles stadium - https://www.xfinitylive.com/dining/nbc-sports-arena.

It opens at 11am so ideal for a few beers before the game. The stadium is just south of the city centre, think it's about a 30/40 minute walk from the centre, so pretty ideal.

Definitely going to try find an organised tailgate at the Skins game though. Read a few things and there is nothing around the stadium and its meant to be pretty rough too, it's also outwith the centre. I'll likely Uber it back as it won't finish til around midnight.

Cheers for the link Invergowrie, looks useful!

I'm guessing you guys have attended as a home team fan? I'm definitely not wearing Lions gear in Philly

Haven’t been but I am going to the broncos v bears at mile high (week 2 I think)... and I can’t fucking wait!!!

I’ve saw them at Wembley but I am positive it’ll be a million times better in the US.

Nice one! I've done London 3 times, this should hopefully blow it out the water.

  3. Has anyone been over to the States for an NFL game? Myself and my cousin have just booked a 6 day trip and taking in the Eagles v Lions and Redskins v Bears.

Those that have been, how did you find it? Any decent tips? Eagles have, what looks like, an epic pub type complex next to the ground. Considering going to that and then just soaking in the tailgate at the Skins game. Anyone done tailgating? Can you just breeze up with a carry out and wander about?

Can't wait, luckily it's week 3, not long to go!

I'm up for it as well if there's still space.

I've got a couple of spaces left. There's actually more invites out than spaces left so it's now first come first served.

If you PM me your email address I'll get the invite sent.

  5. which ones?

got tickets for colts - jags, first time going down to london for it

Just go on their site and do a search for London, there's loads. If you're going to the Wembley game then around Liverpool St would be decent as you can go direct to the ground from there, there's a Travelodge near Old Street, five minute walk or so to Liverpool Street - it's where we stayed last year.

  6. Probably more force of habit now than anything tbh, we usually try & get an early flight home so staying beside the airport and doing the commute to there makes the morning a bit less of a hassle.

That said, going back to hotel last year took ages with bad connection times, so might change tactics this year, thanks for the tip :)

No worries! We stayed in Shoreditch last year for £20 a night each. Looking at staying in the Southwark area this year for ease of getting to Twickenham.

  7. Said it would be a shoot out. Nothing over after two players.

Still though, a fantastic start. Reed has been a monster of late, finally solving my TE issues.

Going to be a tall order to come back from it. Really need Bortles to have the kind of game everyone expects of him v Saints.

  8. If I could just get my chipping in some sort of order I'd knock a good number off my scores.

    Any tips?

What club do you use to chip? I used to fluff my chips a lot until I moved to a 7 iron around the green.
