We're not a million miles away from #12 in Europe either (WC quali - pot 1). Far closer to pot 1 than pot 3. 27pts behinds Sweden at the bottom of pot 1 and 79pts ahead of Greece at the top of pot 3.
Is it likely we reach #12 around November 2024 when the draw will presumably take place? Not particularly.
Is it possible? Playing top teams in the NL and possibly playing in the Euro's give potential to score significant points.

I took the door card off last night just to see if there were any obvious issues. The only thing I noticed was the door card was a bit loose near the lock and some of the clips holding it in place were broken. I'm wondering now if, when it was off a year or two ago to fix the window, if the door card wasn't put back right and some moisture got inside and messed with the electronics.
Think I'm going to try and fix the lock itself and hope that fixes the central locking issue/ignore the central locking issue.
Edit: Got the driver side lock going again. Two tiny pieces of the cam and spring in the lock mechanism broke off and possibly jammed in something. Managed to take the wee broken bits out and its working again. Will replace the broken bits if needed.
Central locking also works fine on the driver side.

Think I'm going to have to take the door card off and have a look at what's going on.

The other big possibility is the wiring loom between the door and the A pillar having been damaged over time (makes sense, the drivers door gets the most use), so perhaps check the look of that CAREFULLY. The plastic on cars these days becomes brittle over time, and cars in the 10-15 year range tend to crack plastic bits like me creaking in the morning.
Yeah I saw that thread before but I didn't quite understand what they meant by "integrated parts". I presume they're referring to the lock actuator.
I had a look a the wiring loom you mentioned a few days ago but will have a more careful look in case I missed anything.Cheers

I've got a 3 door '07 VW Polo with a few issues with the driver side door and now central locking.
A couple of months ago the key stopped turning on the driver side door to unlock it (no key fob btw). I could still lock the car from the driver side after unlocking from the passenger side.
Over the past week, when I unlock from the passenger side, half of the time the central locking doesn't unlock the driver side door or the boot. I have to open the passenger door and stick the key in the ignition, at which point everything unlocks correctly.Any ideas what could be causing the central locking issues? Loose wiring? Lock actuator issues on the driver side door?

Kept seeing the show Jury Duty (Amazon) advertised everywhere so gave it a watch.
It was ok. Could have been much better. 5/10.
It's a mockumentary which follows a jury during a fake trial in America. Everyone involved is an actor apart from one member of the jury who thinks he's participating is some kind of 'behind the curtains' show where TV cameras can follow a jury through an entire trial. They put that guy in more and more daft situations and see how he reacts.
There was potential for a better show here if the comedy was more subtle and they actually made a believable trial. Instead the comedy was ott and the trial itself was poorly done.
The background to how they all ended up on the jury doesn't quite add up either. The non actor saw an ad looking for jury members for a tv show and applied. When he gets there, and they begin selecting the 12 jurors, a bunch of people including a famous actor (James Marsden) are trying to get excused. Why would this happen if they applied to be on the show? AND why would a famous actor apply to be on a minor tv show and then try to be excused. Wasnt explained very well.

Maybe something like this?
Win key + P -> keep holding Win key -> press P three times -> let go of Win key. That should duplicate the laptop display onto the monitor.
Assuming you can login ok without seeing the screen (I think you might have to press a key at the login screen before typing your password).

Well that was an interesting FP2. Long run order maybe looking something like:
Red Bull, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Mercedes/Alpine, McLaren(Norris), Alfa Romeo, Haas, Alpha Tauri/Williams
After the Alpine everything looks pretty close though.
Other points of note. The rumours of Gasly performing better than Ocon appears to be true. Norris is far too good for that car.

Finished Alice in Borderland S2 as well. I think they should end it there but would consider watching a 3rd season to see what the writers can come up with themselves (or recreate from the spin off manga).
SpoilerIt was decent but some the "movie logic" was a bit off putting. Seeing the King of Spades murder everyone else that he sees for the entire season but miss the main characters every time he shot was irritating. That drives me mad. At least have them constantly in cover or something. They were just running right in front of him.
Then when they do finally meet up close in the alleyway they all somehow survive shots/multiple stabbings at point blank range for long enough to get back to reality.An entertaining show but with some flaws.

Alice in Borderland is back in a few weeks after a two year break.
I don't have much hope of a return to the excitement of the first half of season 1 but, given the craziness of the show, surely there will be some good moments to come.

Qatar could probably get enough help and be prepared enough to keep the Ecuador game tight...enough to get a win is itself quite a big call. Then they have to get a draw with Senegal (look at Senegal's XI), and then Senegal have Ecuador in the 3rd game and likely just need to better Qatar's result against them? I'm of the same mind as you in theory but it needs to be pretty long odds.
Yeah, I wouldn't bet a lot on Qatar getting out of the group. Group A seems quite tight for 2nd, 3rd & 4th. I only took them with a free bet.0 -

Are we likely to move up the FIFA rankings with these results? We have been sitting about 45th for 3 years.
