  1. Yeah they all play for the top Saturday teams in Dundee which has been quite good banter cos they've been playing against each other in finals and league deciders over the last few weeks

Good on yous , am sure other successful Sunday teams are similar in that respect , harvester are like that in the east am sure and cranhill wur like that in the west as well makes for good banter when yer lads meet up on the Sunday. Hopefully yous can keep the same squad and see if yous can retain yer trophys

  2. Very true with that comment I don't think joshua likes being hit but until he is given a serious test on the chin with a combo instead of one punch we won't see how much punishment it can take because that is the mark of a true champion. Personally I think he could take the punishment and with how hard he hits not many will stand toe to toe with him. Really want to see a haye Joshua fight would be a classic !

  3. Hearn and even AJ thought Whyte was a fucking bum and an easy fight. In no way did they see any danger in that fight despite the hype job.

Not a person outwith the Hearn/AJ camp made out Martin was a tough opponent. Again more hype to drum up plenty revenue.

Joshua is a money making excersise for Hearn at this time and nothing more. He could turn out to be world class down the line but at the present moment he is no where near that. Its all hype and clever marketing to earn big bucks whilst taking minimum risk. Hearn isn't daft though he won't have AJ against a real dangerous opponent any time soon

Disagree with you on this. Considering whyte was the only opponent to knock aj down in the amateurs (allegedly) and beat him i dont think aj would have took whyte lightly at all. Agree he's just there to make Hearn a shit load of money but he's getting better with every fight and after he defends his belt once or twice I have no doubts a unification fight will be top of the list as it makes most sense for all parties financially. Here's hoping that's the way it will pan out cos an aj fight against wilder or fury is what everyone would like to see !
  4. He had to have shoulder surgery straight afterwards am sure seriously think whyte will be a world champion in the near future as well , has a new trainer and that in ace now as well but time will tell how good he can actually be.

  5. Dylan whyte is a cracking up and coming fighter Joshua knocked him out , whyte beats chisora and imo give whyte 4 or 5 more fights and he will be in world contention. Will be good to see aj against the likes of haye fury or wilder but it's still a long way off before Hearn risks they fights. Would be interesting to see at this stage right enough

  6. And Joshua isn't as good as the Eddie Hearn/Sky hype machine would make you believe.

Fury won his title beating the best the heavyweight division has had to offer over the last 10 years, Joshua beat some nobody who won his title by default.

Very fair point I would agree that fury done more than any heavyweight has managed in recent times vs klitschko .... but the fight was an absolute snoozefest that fury won simply by keeping the robot at bay. I like fury he's the most colourful character there has been for a while. Just think the more Joshua trains and fights he will outbox fury and most likely knock him out.

  7. Fury isn't as good a boxer as everyone is making out , he's tall and awkward which makes it hard for his opponents but as for boxing rings round Joshua think that's a bit of over zealous praise for furys skills as a boxer.

  8. Think a lot of the big hitters are going to avoid whyte right now dangerous fight and not much money to be gained right now. He will probs have a few fights and become mandatory for the top fighters.

  9. The bigger the star the more hoops they make you jump through , mcgregor knows how the games played he's done a lot by carrying the sport almost singlehandedly to new levels. Do the promotion work and then back into your training , in my opinion the Diaz fight has fuc*ed with him mentally and with Diaz having longer preparation time this time around don't see any different outcome for 200

  10. Being from the west seen quite a few junior sides from various divisions and played against a few there defo isnt a big gap between them and good ammy sides , just my opinion not seen any junior sides from the east so cant comment about them

  11. There's not much between the top amateur sides and with the exception of the premier divisions from east and west juniors the district leagues aren't the greatest standard punt and run stuff in the junior set up

  12. Played against a couple of dundee teams and always a battle , all the best in the final bully are a good side should be a very good game from a neutral perspective heard good things about both sides so all the best mate
