1. I missed the first 20 minutes on Saturday and had trouble getting it to play once i joined, just had a loading circle for about 5 minutes and no joy when i refreshed the page. Once it got going i had no more issues and it worked really well. I know the consensus was that the stream was terrible for the Ayr game. Mine was really bad - unwatchable at times - but my dad’s stream was flawless and i ended up watching his stream via facetime. I generally have good wi-fi so i couldn’t work out why mine would be worse than his. I’m a bit of technophobe when it comes to this kind of thing, so can’t offer anything more specific unfortunately. In general though i think Saturday’s stream was much better than the Ayr and Dunfermline games - the Inverness game worked pretty well for me.
2. Gutted to lose that one. That was a real chance when Thomson broke through towards the end, lack of cutting edge cost us again but a great effort overall. I hope Jamieson doesn’t take the 2nd goal too hard, him and Andy are starting to look like a really good partnership
3. Does anybody know where Grant was on Saturday? Hopefully him and Taggart are fit and available for tonight. A free hit for us tonight! If we can defend like we did against Hearts we’ll give ourselves a chance of going through, really looking forward to it
4. I was more annoyed by the Dunfermline fans than yourselves tbf, we had to listen to them complaining about O’Hara all week before the game, knowing he had been our best player last season and what he was capable of. Obviously he then went on to score a hat-trick in the game. My point wasn’t so much that those guys (Walsh and Zanatta) should be starting for Ayr, it’s more that one player like that would make a big difference to us this season, whilst other teams have them sitting on the bench as options. I was half surprised we didn’t try and get somebody like Innes Cameron in on loan, but he played against us pre-season and perhaps Grant didn’t see much in him.
5. Hearts game aside this has been a dreadful start to the season. Hard watching again today, even when we had longer spells on the ball we never looked dangerous. It’s the same cries as previous weeks, but we need Jamieson in and settled at CB with Taggs back on the right (does anyone know where Jamieson was today?), and desperately need some more options going forward. It’s not quite time for throwing barriers at the Police outside the Recs, but we really need to pick up some points before christmas. I know that resource wise, we can’t compete with these teams but listening to opposition fans - be it Ayr or Dunfermline - moaning about attacking options whilst the likes of Zanatta, O’Hara and Walsh sit on the bench is salt in the wounds stuff.
6. Did anybody else order a programme for today’s game that hasn’t arrived yet? I’m guessing it’s a post issue as opposed to an issue with the club/printer, but thought it worth checking on here
7. Hard watching today, really poor performance. Conceding 10 goals in 4 games is worrying. Robbo has struggled defensively this season and we are letting too many crosses into the box from his side, we really need to try and get Jamieson up to speed and Taggart back to RB. As others have said and we all know, we are seriously lacking upfront. We didn’t look like a threat at all today, three or four times there was a loose ball in the box and we were nowhere near it. I think it’s time we started to see more from Scougall as well, i’d like to see him have more of an impact on games than we’ve seen so far. Something has to change quickly - i’m not expecting much from the Hearts game next week but we really need to come out of the Ayr and Arbroath games with points. Good coverage by QoS, well worth the £10.
8. Really disappointing to lose like that today, it’s not like us to fall apart after going behind. Thomson done okay with a few long balls today but never looks a threat inside the box, we really need another option up front. The sooner Andy Graham and Parry are back the better. After Dunfermline fans whinging about O’Hara all week it was no surprise to see him come on and play like he did. Robbo gifted the first one but it still took a good finish, the second one he made for himself by showing the same kind of tenacity that we became used to last season. Still no need for panic at this stage but we really need some of our key players back and some points on the board. Also, well done to LeodhasXD and KierenAAFC , a challenging first half with the stream but the second half was much better. The commentary was a nice addition and worked well for a first attempt.

10. I think that’s the crux of the ST pricing vs PPV game fee argument, most of us bought season tickets with at least some hope that’d we would get into the ground at some point this season - with buying a ST potentially the only way to get in at all. There is also the argument of buying a ST to help the club(s) at a time when they need it most - i won’t be too disappointed if i end up a few quid out of pocket at the end of the season compared to those who paid as they went. I have no idea what it takes for clubs to make ends meet with regards to streaming, but the price point in my head was closer to @LeodhasXD at £5-£10 than anything in the £15-£20 range. Hopefully most of the clubs in the league can find a balance and don’t Just take liberties knowing that the same people will shell out every week - somewhat regardless of price.
11. £15 for a one off live stream is steep i know we’re not them: the clubs, organisation and setup are different but the League of Ireland done it brilliantly - €55 for access to all of the games (regardless of club) for the season, or €5 per game. I think the FAI paid for the installation/setup and provided ongoing subsidies, but the fans have gotten a great deal from it and feedback has been really good.
12. Scougall was a standout in the Livingston team around 2012-2013, I don’t think anybody who had watched him was surprised when he got his move down south. I’ve no idea what he’s been like in the years in between but If he’s anything like i remember him, that’s a tremendous signing.
13. Any word yet on when the new tops will be on sale?
14. I never watched Jamieson with QP but i seen him play for Largs a few times and was always impressed. Grant jr has obviously seen enough of him to recommend him, let’s hope it works out!
15. Flanny We’ve been absolutely spoiled over the last decade but Flanny was maybe the most enjoyable of all to watch, a man with total mastery of the ball at his feet. There are so many brilliant memories and big goals but the one that really sticks out for me is the free-kick against Hibs at the Recs. Time running out, Oxley filling the keepers side of the goal, Flanny with nothing to aim at; as soon as it left his foot you knew it was going in. Sublime.
