I am sat here aghast at how dumb sevco's fans are, let me spell it out fellas Docherty will not be joining you unless you come up with the cash, and just like the reason Murphys deal was converted to a loan deal from the proposed permenant deal, that reason being the lack of disposable cash, I cannot see Docherty becoming a sevco player in this window.

Sevco are reliant on the income from ST sales to allow them to pay money with regard to the transfer market, I cannot foresee us agreeing to the situation that has facilitated Murphys arrival at Ibrox, any deal for Docherty will only be concluded once the agreed fee is in our bank account.

I can see Greg signing for sevco but not until the cash is available therfor I cannot see him moving to Ibrox in this window.

Sevco fans need to get real and console themselves with the fact that the blue pound is worthless in the football world currently.

I would be more concerned that whatever transfer fee is paid is lodged in a secure bank account.

Yes, very strange. Reminds me a lot of the years leading up to February 2012 in that particular respect.

    You make an excellent point.

I suppose if there is a difference - and I'm not saying there is - then it might be that, this time, the audited accounts say additional loans are required from a specific source in order to survive; and that the director who has promised to deliver the loans has separately claimed to have no discretion over the source's funds.

Not sure if those two claims conflict in any significant way. I suppose if they did, then we might expect to see players loaned-out and loaned-in this month, rather then transfer fees being paid.

Some people are reading a helluva lot into the Murphy loan with option to buy transfer. You would think that Rangers were the only Scottish Club  or Club forced to  stay & play in Scotland who have ever taken a player on loan.

Perhaps there is a financial shortfall at Ibrox that precludes the immediate payment of the full fee, if so a loan and buy later deal makes sense. Perhaps with the uncertainty of Murty's position, the Club are simply being ultra careful with the transfer fund after allowing Pedro to piss millions against the wall.

If Rangers do indeed go in to Admin 2 then I will be the first to admit that I am wrong, however I do feel that the recent frenzy amongst the more dedicated of the obsessed is simply no more than wishful thinking on their part.

I know their was an area referred to at ibrox as "the Derry"

Copland Road terrace was The Derry, watched my first games at Ibrox sitting on a crush barrier just in front of a support pillar of the roof not far from stairway 13. Seems that Dundee FC are under some pressure from the PC mob about their fans still referring to their traditional hardcore area as The Derry.

Sticks & stones and all that.

The seethe on here is delicious

May God have mercy on their Souls when we (as inevitable as it is)  start winning Titles & Cups again, the meltdown of the haters on here will be a joy to behold. It will simply be too much for some of them to handle.

May I remind some of you that, according to some religious teaching, suicide is a mortal sin. You will have to choose between enduring hell on earth watching us re-establish ourselves as #1or suffer eternal hellfire for taking the easy option out.

I am under no illusion that our inexorable rise to the top will be in any way easy, or instantaneous, but it will happen. After all, you cannot keep a good thing down.

Do you not see the embarrassment of using last years kit in this age of consumerism? You and your fans are going to be laughed at and mocked because they are using last years fashion and every body else is in fashion with shiny new kits. :D

You do realise that the club ALREADY had to pay for unsold stock and that this might be a cunning plan to con you and yer dafty supporting mates into buying stock at full price when it should be hanging in the reduced section as last years pish. Even more embarrassing is that Fat Mike is also taking a cut because the stock in sitting in his warehouse waiting to be distributed to stupid supporters in bus loads being goaded on by Dodgy Dave to buy them in their thousands.

You might think it is a good deal for the club but for how long? we do not know the full details of the new contract but it's a fucking dead cert that Fat Mike is in the driving seat here. He held the contract by the baws and he didn't care a fucking jot because he got paid no matter what. Ashley only needed to take King to court and Dodgy Dave would have no option but to comply. And you think the shameless glib & liar got the better of Ashley?

2 Year kit deals are the norm, most, if not all of Celtics home kits have been 2 season deals. The current Rangers kit is on sale at £20, less than half price. Fat Mike will be taking his cut of these sales at the new rate, not the old 90p in the £. You do not know the details of the new contract, therefore you do not know that Ashley is in the driving seat. Who is to say that Ashley might have come to his senses and realised that getting say  30% of Rangers retail sales with a new deal, against 90% of virtually no sales is a good idea?

The court case would not have ended well for anyone. Had SD won, Rangers would have been stuck with the legal bill, whilst SD would have continued to sell virtually zero Rangers merchandise. Had Rangers won, SD would have been hit with the legal bill and a pile of Rangers merchandise that they would not be able to move, Rangers would still not get any revenue from merchandising.

Common sense has prevailed here, and again, no matter how you try to spin it, this is great news for Rangers, and bad news for those who hate us.

And I'll be laughing at you if you end up buying last years top as this years kit knowing that your club already paid for it by the boycott and that Fat Mike is also getting half the profits from stock he already sold.

Last seasons home kit will also be this seasons home kit. As for the stock already sold, completely negligible. Good news and a money spinner for Rangers no matter how desperately you try to spin it otherwise.

As of 15.00 hrs, 21/6/2017 the new retail deal ensures that Rangers will be making money from retail sales that have already exploded, compared to the 10p in the £ nonsense that saw Rangers fans quite correctly refuse to purchase any merchandise that would line the Sports Direct bank account with Rangers getting practically nothing in return.

Expect to see quite a few more Rangers shirts being worn around the streets of Scotland and beyond than you have become used to over the last few years.

 I can't help laughing at the thought of the **** thinking that all of the cash will go into the club with it's operating loses. Dopey c***s think nothing about the club being in profit and having healthy finances, the very second they hear extra cash raised they automatically think it's going into the playing squad.

The operating loses must be dealt with at some point soon but I don't see it happening. As for the fans feeling bad about buying merchandise during the boycott? Why should they?, they were the ones actually helping the club even if the previous deal was crappy. The ones that boycotted? they did nothing other than help cripple the club financially.

Aye, Rangers finally being able to tap into a cash stream that will be worth millions to the Club is something to be laughed at. I am sure that every Rangers hater out there is splitting their sides at the prospect of Rangers retail sales exploding in the very near future.

The funniest thing about this Cardoso signing, is his interview with Sevco tv.

    The guy can barely speak a word of english, but has been made to practice two sentences;

'Scotlands biggest club' and 'the most successful club in the world'.

Definitely has the distinct whiff of PR shyte all over it. emoji23.png

From a supporter of a Club whose every new signing, even those from previously undiscovered tribes of the Upper Amazon, who claim to have been Sellik supporters since birth, loved Jimmy Johnstone, greatest fans in the World, everybody loves us, watched the Lisbon Lions on a black & white telly in a mud hut in Mozambique, etc, etc.......

Seeing Celtic Park as having red in the Main Stand is mind blowing to me. Had to reverse search it to figure that one out.

All that land around the Piggery, plus the special dispensation to build above a cemetery was granted to Ra Sellick for the princely sum of £1.

Great value for money acquired by Glasgow City Council I am sure you will agree.
