Absolutely no chance, thankfully.

Christ. As you say, that's worse than I remember it.
I got angry again reading that. A reminder of how tabloid media colluded with a corrupt Doncaster and spineless SPL clubs in simply telling lies.
The nerve of it is actually staggering. Having rejected Rangers themselves, certain SPL chairmen, then sought blatantly to bully SFL clubs into doing the reverse, but to do it in the interests of those same SPL clubs that had actively cut them adrift.
Seriously, what a complete b*****d.
If I was a shareholder at st mirren at that time I'd be saying: "fine, if that is true so be it, but I will be tabling a motion for your immediate removal from the board, as that is a total failure of governance. If you have put this club into a position where the loss of one club will cause us to go bust then you are not worth a salary".0 -

Not yet. I am waiting for these dribbling morons to see if they remember this one. Some of the classic lines are getting trotted out now "Aye well if Hayes is good then how come no one has bid £6 million for him? Aye, exactly!", "Hayes huz never played good against them but McKay is great!" and my favourite one "Canny believe wit I've just read!" with loads of these stupid emojis after it.
They really are a strange bunch.
They absolutely crave the self esteem boost that comes from one of their players being touted for a £6m move. It's just bizarre.
If the DR said someone was about to offer £6m for Hayes I'd just laugh.

Just me who doesn't get all the McKay rage? He's a decent Premiership winger, maybe he'll get better, but at the moment I wouldn't say he was any more effective than the likes of Jonny Hayes.
A certain club need some money, a certain club like to ask certain newspapers to drum up some interest for their players at inflated prices.
Not naming names...

I don't know much about gilmours leanings but when they were talking about lawell 'running' Scottish football and he said 'that's why we need rangers back, so there's another strong club', I thought you spineless c**t, you had a place in the spfl yourself. Pathetic.

I'd be delighted if we were getting a fit (obviously not match fit) Stevie May, but not as a replacement for Hayes.

Having just read that we have no interest in May, then this would make me happy.
I fully expect some 35yo "target man" instead though.want stockley?

It'll be based on nothing of substance.
Mcinnes yesterday said he has a specific attacking player he wants. May seems a logical target, doubt it'll be anymore than that.0 -
In fairness we've only had 3 ties since then and one was the semi at ibrox

So basically same money but not in instalments?I'm guessing it would still be instalments just slightly more up front than offered before, maybe £200k or something.
Derisory, as they say.

Mcinnes confirms Cardiff came in with a 2nd offer 'structured differently' and they were told to poke it.
Sounds like it wasn't even increased beyond £500k. Warnock can seriously gtf.

His constant reference to 'diddies' when anyone says something he doesn't like says far more about him than it does any of us unfortunately.
It also belittles his self-portrayal as a pseudo-intelligent individual.
Given his automatic response to anything is 'diddies' it simply highlights he'd rather get involved in petty squabbles instead of actually engaging in debate.

I meant more that it's not that long since Aberdeen fans had worse things to moan about than the likelihood of finishing behind Rangers.
Unfortunately our support have very short memories

Rumours on the fishmarket this morning that Ryan Jack is going to Rangers.
Oh mah heid. Hope that's shite.
Where you seeing this?0 -
I couldn't care less for the general snide comments.
As far as I'm concerned, a player discovered, trained, and exposed to the wider world by my club should have the loyalty, and dignity to transfer for more than the pitiful 'development fees'. f**k Fraser, and f**k his ilk. The wee c**t is supposedly a Dons fan... Even if I had the ability of Iniesta, I wouldn't leave the Dons hanging with a £250k kick in the c**t.
Training facilities are lovely, but it's not stopped us building an incredibly good team (relatively).
It was greed, and f**k all else that led Fraser south. He's been incredibly lucky to have joined a team that made it into the money pit.
That said, I'm a little young to remember the real judas', Wright and Robertson. I can't remember them as players, but the thought of them makes me boke.
Dreadful stuff.
Fraser was offered a golden opportunity at a good age to further his career. As a club and a team at that time we were a disaster.
If by greed you mean went after a larger salary and potential salary then yes he probably did, why wouldn't you? It's a short career and it's difficult to pass up opportunities when they come along, you're one injury away from that opportunity never presenting itself again.
Who are you to judge him like? Boy is now a regular in the premier league in England making a right good career for himself.
I know we all love the doughy eyed ideal that local loons will stay for the love of the club or until they command us a huge fee, but life isn't like that.
Give the boy a fuckin break0 -
Oh absolutely we would...for about a week. After that? Well who would care? Why post obsessively about a club you think is dead?
What a bare faced lie [emoji1]0 -
Was in a car park recently where there was a minimum £2 charge.
As I'm paying for my parking a woman comes up behind me and says "oh £2 minimum! I've only got 90p, do you think if I put that in I'll get a 'part-ticket'?"
No, no i fucking don't. Being a lovely person I gave her £1.10 but I wasn't happy about it.0 -
Wes Burns back to Bristol City.
Not really surprised, he showed some early promise but never really looked the part.

Either that or he was very clever, but considering he lost his wallet in the snow I'm not so sure.
I was talking to my mates recently about this and none of them remembered this story. They nearly had me convinced I'd imagined it.
Still doubt how much truth there was to it, mind.
