  1. Haha given up on your ridiculous argument so resorted to jibes about two seasons ago ????
  2. He didn't say that once, he said Rijeka were as big a threat as we'll face this season
  3. Ha. True. In fairness I grew up enjoying watching him play for Scotland, wasn't so aware he was an arrogant p***k back in my younger years.
  4. A point I made earlier. It's not about whether or not teams in the CL are better than Scottish teams. Everyone knows they are. We are in a league that is trying desperately to market itself and promote the game (or at least supposed to be) and we have the assistant manager of the biggest club in the country, and somewhat of a Scottish football icon slating the other teams in the league and suggesting Celtic suffer because of just how bad everyone else is. It's disrespectful to your peers, and incredibly arrogant that he even suggests they only concede goals when they switch off because they're uninterested.
  5. Why are Celtic fans completely missing the point here
  6. As mentioned before there probably is an element of truth to it but it is disrespectful and unhelpful when we as a country are trying to promote our game. It's also one of a series of times that Celtic/Rangers have referenced the standard of domestic opposition as reasons for their failure and it is frankly cuntish behaviour.
  7. If the view is that Celtic are better than most teams in the league then yes you're probably right. Don't though try and act as if Mcinnes has behaved like your assistant manager
  8. Missing the point chief. Does playing Partick Thistle prepare your defence for a champions league game? No of course it doesn't. But similarly does Chelsea playing Sunderland on a Saturday prepare them defensively for playing Barcelona? Are Rijeka a better side than Kilmarnock and are they going to test our defence more? Yes, of course they are and Derek has said as such. Your attention seeking assistant manager however has made an unprovoked attack on the rest of the league and shown utter contempt for your domestic rivals and unbelievable arrogance. It is essentially the point of the champions league, it is a level (or ten) above your domestic competition, so you deal with that ffs. Only in Scotland would the CL competing club blame the rest of the league not being good enough for nay potential failure they are about to encounter.
  9. "It's not our fault" Celtic don't have many redeeming qualities but at least you're consistent
  10. This is paranoia of the like you so often claim is a characteristic of your arch enemies on the East end. It's almost like the pair of you are actually two cheeks of the same arse.
  11. You can breathe a sigh of relief then. St Mirren - you were warned...
  12. There is really no point in reading these articles as a non-OF fan. It could just be condensed into a weekly article of 'Look at Scotlands shite wee diddy teams' 'Rangers and Celtic prop up scottish football' 'Any other cliche that bums up either Celtic or Rangers and shows complete disdain for the rest of the league' and so on
  13. So we've been chosen as the ones to suffer for there being no derbies this year. Cheers Hearts. We're flattered.
  14. ^attitude that is pretty much the root cause of all of this, including the game in Scotland
  15. Hardly the biggest transfer let down we've had over the years. Next....
  16. Disagree. While I hope he turns out to be a gem I don't think being part of the Man City youth set up automatically makes him a first team challenger. Plenty Man City youth players get released at his age and go on to do absolutely nothing in the game. That said, I am hopeful he proves me wrong!
