When I read that I thought you where talking about Lawrence and Jamie
Understandable since only one of the three has played at a World Cup.

Largely dissapointed with the transfer window so far. Need at least 6 decent players in
Maybe best to at least wait until the transfer window opens on Friday to be disappointed.

He's posted a photo of him being on a plane in Glasgow and already following our media team so must be a done deal. Seems to be an attacking midfielder if you base it on FM/Fifa.

Any of the investigators seen any new followers on twitter or anyone heard any rumours?
No, but bad news for data haters is I did notice yesterday we appear to have a new recruitment analyst Greg Marshall, formerly of Stirling Albion, presumably in addition to what we currently have.
He's also a veterinary medicine student if posts require a link to cats and dogs.

Announce Oakley.
The 2 family members following the club rule has now been reached so the next Morton stage of grief will be he was never that good.

VoR article on the women's game on Friday does include "Striker George Oakley is nearing a deal to join from Morton while United are also targeting a new face between the sticks with Josh Clarke unlikely to return from Celtic.".

Was Hewitt not originally a right back that could play in midfield, or was he a midfielder that could fullback?
Yes he was a RB in the youths although I think Cove last March was his first start for us in that position as he was played everywhere else.
RB is probably one of the positions that has had a number of academy players feature. Hopefully Watret can develop and take his chance when it arrives.

They had dipo on trial before we took the punt on him
Livi had Rose on trial start of this season, Dipo signed for us before pre season started.
Looking at those types of strikers it is noticeable the number of goalscorers such as Willoughby that got a move up last summer but made little impact and moved elsewhere for game time. If we went that route again you need a Dowds type alongside them to reduce the risk.

See Mackenzie Carse is being freed by Celtic. Seemed to be highly rated but I’ve no idea how he got on at Queens Park last season.
Absolutely clutching at any and all straws given the lack of rumours or gossip.
Funnily at the QP home game in March players from our U18s were behind me and when Carse was subbed on they did start talking about him as if they thought he was signing for us.
He did seem to be under contract until 2025 so didn't think much of it and it was one of the least interesting parts of listening to them talk about life under Brown.
Regardless of how much truth was in what they were saying his lack of game time during his loan would be a concern he's ready for this level.

On one hand you’re saying we need to go after experience at this level. On the other hand you’re citing two players who have experience at this level, who we were supposedly interested in, being a bad thing. I’m confused.
We didn't get either though. I imagine the issue is less that was the calibre of player we were targeting and more those 2 particular players were unlikely to sign for us. Brian Graham was already under contract for this season and as manager of their women's team I'm not sure what we thought we could offer that would tempt him. Also we let ourselves be used by McKay to force Inverness into giving him a 2 year contract when it seems unlikely he was that interested in uprooting his family especially when he was one goal away from being all-time top scorer.
That's where the issue with chasing them possibly led to us missing out on others and why we ended up with an unfit Akheem Rose and had to sign Dowds in September.

I do find Brown is willing to cut his own signings more slack than some of those he inherited. He signalled for Tomlinson in the 40th minute after McGinty committed a foul which I thought was soft.
If Sanders was here when he arrived and McGinty was signed in January then I doubt the same player would have been subbed tonight. McGinty will never be a ball playing CB but I'd argue that Sanders isn't any better on the ball and the rest of the defence are prone to going long. Been clear since QP away that they possibly wouldn't get on but shame if he was forced out.

Saw this earlier and thought it was interesting. I can’t even remember much about him from that season. Did he win our POTY?
Good shot stopper but had a tendency to punch everything. McCowan won POTY that season and McKenzie with 6 starts won YPOTY over Sinisalo and our other loan player.

Really really smart. Love it
Only spotted the Est 1910 when looking at this 2nd time around which is a nice touch but mostly hidden in the video.

It’s the trips to Africa twice a season . Is that something Brown will put up with ?
Of all the reasons on whether or not to re-sign him I'm sure that's not something Brown would be overly worried about.

It’ll need to be good then, or they’ll be in for a bit of criticism!
It can’t be any worse than the current system though, so they don’t have much to do to improve on it.
I'll set my expectations at not seeing the turnstile operator using a pen and paper to do tally marks at the first game next season.

Hope it is a success as it's a local firm.
Since it MacIntyre's company I'm sure the boardroom will be hoping it is a success too.

Email doesn't specifically mention prices but does include a screenshot that would suggest adults will be £300.

I'm not renewing this season, well not at the moment. Missed a few games for other reasons and missed a few because I just couldn't be arsed going along. Value for money entertainment wise has just not been there and until I see some form of rectifying that in the summer (serious additions to the squad) I will just do PATG. Been to 12 of our 16 home league games, 2 wins, 2 draws 8 defeats, scored 12 goals and conceded 20
You'll need to provide the club with the breakdown of those 12 goals scored by end if you want things to improve.

Out on loan with Ollie at east Stirlingshire since February started his first 5 games but then missed one week through injury and been on the bench since
Both started for our U18's in the Youth Cup semi on the Friday but Watret obviously couldn't do two 90 mins and missed the East Stirling game the next day and they've been unbeaten since. Hopefully he'll get back in at some point.

Sadly says he suffered ankle ligament damage at the end of his match yesterday. Hopefully he can make it back for the grass.

Yup Stillie was back in the goalkeeper coach role today. I haven't had it confirmed if its permanent.
Noticed this morning that Dimi had posted it was his son's birthday but that could be unrelated.
Did see White in the stand today so assuming he's less involved in the first team now.
