What length of contract is our goalie coach on ?
The sensible thing to do with backroom staff would be to have them on the same contract length as the manager. Hopefully it's the summer for everyone and Brown can then keep who he wants.

Just seen the homemade highlights on YouTube and i cannot believe how badly Albinson has done with both the goals.
2nd one was bizarre as if he forgot he had hands. Watching it back think McHugh could be more aware of Doc running off the back of Dempsey and tuck in as he barely moves in the time Docherty goes from outside the box to scoring.

I like this, I just hope that brown doesn’t go with mcgeady instead of Amartey
If McGeady starts tomorrow then 43% of his league starts this season will have been against Dundee United. Imagine that stat would stay the same once Brown watches him start a game.

He has played one solitary game as a right back for about an hour.
Yeah, would be odd to identify him, let him speak to Brown and have him say in his interview that he sees himself as a box to box midfielder only to play him at RB.
Unless we're back to not wanting to give opponents a competitive advantage and told him to lie.

I miss the days of getting young lads on loan/newly released from the Scottish top flight. Doohan, Houston, Rose, Harvie and Kelly were
Sure you could add Smith and Shankland but not sure Houston belongs on that list given his next move.
Stick him in with Roscoe, Ross, Anderson, Cameron, Barjonas, McAllister and Afolabi which would prove that route still has it's fair success of failure.

If you look at the top scorers in the National League North/South last season the majority of the ones that moved up a level in the summer have since moved back down on loan so clearly a bit of gap for more than just Willoughby. Wouldn't read too much into his lack of goals so far this season and hopefully he's here to be a poacher and nothing more.

Kelly hasn't played 90 mins in the league this season and was even out the squad for a couple of games at New Year. Wouldn't be that unrealistic he'd be looking for more regular football.

If Harry McHugh doesn't sign then it's pointless I've done a basic family tree for him.

No idea, Ryan Stevenson, Martyn Campbell, pass, Chris Robertson
Gareth Wardlaw, pass, Alex Williams, pass, Andy McLaren, Paul Weaver
Mark Casey, David Lowing, Stephen Swift and Craig Higgins are the ones I think are missing

Join Aberdeen in the semi-finals. Rangers/Hearts and QoS/Dundee United the other QF matches taking place today.

All 22 players yet to realise it's windy.

I'm sure Mitchel Frame is from Ayr so he could solve the LB issue and from my FM save I would recommend Daniel Kelly who actually made his debut at the weekend.

I agree. We would better for UWS to do it. Would be better also if they were allowed to be a lot tougher in their questioning. Nothing wrong with them doing it IMO but clearly warned not to ask certain things.
They give off the impression that they don't actually go to the games which would explain why the questions are cliche and generic. They would be better inviting questions if that was the case.

McBookie now up. Bowyer 5/2; Mulgrew 3/1; Brown 3/1; Young 6/1; 10/1 bar - no Davie White still.
Clearly all the money went on Brown as soon as it was up as he's now favourite.

As much as the club deserve criticism for some things, this week people seem to have knee jerk reactions to a lot of speculative stuff that is unconfirmed and has no given source but accepted it as fact anyway. It's possible it is from sources within the club or people directly associated with the first team but I suppose time will tell and for some of it we'll never know what's true.

Had heard the hope was appointed by Monday, in stands Tuesday and in dug out for QP.
If the weather forecast, wind wise, is correct for Tuesday then you'd think the game could be in doubt. Might not be the worse case scenario although happy to play if we get Stephen Kelly back to take corners.

Norrie now the only remaining Brit in the singles.
Did notice only 4 players in the men's draw are yet to lose a set after 2 rounds with Sinner and Etcheverry the only seeds. Imagine that'll change tomorrow.

Also, this page is worth a follow in Twitter/X.
Shows the reactions of pairs of the banished and murdered players finding out who the traitors were.
And this.
You might already know but it's part of The Traitors: Uncloaked on BBC 2.

Gary Bowyer is the sensible choice however we’re Ayr fans and don’t get nice things so it won’t be him
He's on LinkedIn which will please the board.
Sure it will come down to whether his profile is as strong as Mulgrew's, what his PowerPoint interview skills are like and if he's got a photo with Roberto De Zerbi as that's the important stuff for our board.

I sense part of Paul's inevitable downfall will be him thinking that he's still the leader of the traitors and Harry's not smart. The reality is Harry took over around the time Paul went in the dungeon as shown by his comment at the roundtable and getting what he wanted at the end.

The academy wiki lists 36 academy graduates who have played in the first team since 2006. Unfortunately it is only our first team it tracks so e.g. if we had never signed Muirhead it would be 35. Also the last entry is Paul Smith so it isn't up to date beyond the Mark Kerr COVID season.
Even at that, that 36 is two new names a season on average and it'll be higher yet once updated.
My bad I created the list but couldn't be bothered to keep it up to date. Might need to revisit it.

To be fair , not many clubs in the Championship are playing 16 year old players
Recruitment point was more that the current first teamers on 2 years deals have no real value and are likely to end the same way as Mitchell-Lawson rather than Dipo .
Certainly encouraging to see Hislop at 15 take part in the warm up earlier in the season so hopefully we can get a contract sorted in the summer.
