  1. Aye heard that at tail end of last season.

Strange one as he's never really struck me as a stand out for the 20's.

He was going to leave for hearts 2 years ago and get paid all expensies and be on £450 a week, turned it down as he loves billy thomsons training, he's 18 now will be developing, but tbh i'd happily take around £40/60k for him meaning we could get another outfeilder.

  2. I dont think free tickets are included as many have been saying we have as many as 500 free tickets on top of each given figure which would take us to 3500. Around the agm the figure was quoted as being 2500 i find it hard to believe that we could only sell 500 tickets in a month that why i believe that it is not including the free tickets.

I agree i don't think the free tickets are on top of that figure. Its tickets "sold" free ones are hardly sold. And i agree about your agm point.

If it is 3500 then maybe get another hundred or 2 to go yet, taking us to 3700 and say we get 300 odd walk up's a week, could see sub 4000+ attendences. Alot of if and maybes, but if we are getting back to 4000+ its a step in the right direction for the club

  3. My starting XI for Saturday... 4-2-2-2

    Mcdonald-

LB Smith CB- Findley CB- Connelly RB- Westlake

    CDM- Hammil CDM- Robinson

    LW- Mckensie/Kiltie RW- Higgy

    ST- Boydy ST- Carrick

Only player i'd drop once we have everyone fit would be Hammil for Slater.

Although i'd bring in Slater is Gary Locke could mangae to sign 1 more player, i'd love to see a creative midefilder as robinson and hammil are to alike.

However i've also said i'd like cover at left back and a right back????????

  4. He's a great signing in terms of a development player, but I can't see the Muirhead comparisons myself. Robbie is big, gangly and has a powerful strike whereas Pooler is small, quick and a good finisher. Still don't understand why we let him go, maybe it was a case of him wanting more first-team football and St Mirren have promised him more of a chance? Best of luck to the kid though, an exciting player to watch.

We let him go as he was going into a contact on £450 a week, and this is 100% truthful as i know many boys who are mates with dylan. Personally i didn't see him making it at killie. But aw the bedt anyway.

  5. Where did you hear this?

He's still under contract with Rangers and there was an interview in the paper a week or so ago saying Davey Weir rates him.

Anthony Brown on twitter, scottish football reporter tweeted...

@anthonyabrown: Kilmarnock shaping up v nicely this summer. That squad has to be looking to push for top six. Another eye-catching arrival likely as well

Then someone said they had talked to Locke on the ferry and Zalukas is coming.

Mucculoch is the obivous like for him to come here. Boyd and smith also.

  6. We're there many in attendance and did Killie bring many down?

Think there was about 1000, steward said there was 250 of us (killie fans)

Was very impressed with Queens, as was with us (2nd half only). Thought Higgans at centre back had Maggenis, your right back in the second half struggled with mckensie coming in off the left wing and let to two goals. Liked the look of Tapping, felt Higginbotm got much more involved in the game when he went off, higgy looks a player though.

You's will do fine next year, finsh top4 i'd imagine again, good side.

  7. Was very impressed with us tonight, as was i with queens, both teams wanting to play football. Robinson, higgy and mckensie the stand out for me. Robinson does the unnoticed pish work. Higgy ran the show in the second half and mckensie was excellent and coming in off the wing. Findley looks a real player comfertable on the ball. Smith looks good going forward overlapped higgy alot. Maggenis was beyond uslesss tonight and would imagine carrick will take his place and would like to see mckensie up top again.

Looking forward to this season even more now, get it started canny wait.

    Mon the killie

  8. Heading down to Queens tomorrow canny wait. Get a look a our new sqiad, see a killie legend again(fowler).

Having watched mcculoch's interview i'm surprised about how he talks about football. He seems to talk about expansive attacking football, from 1st team through to youth teams, again this could be fed to him by backroom/boardroom staff to say, but him and leven seem to be on the exact same lines as coaches, hopefully this resembles our proformances thos year.

  9. Not sure it has to be one or the other? If Croserky signs, then I imagine it'll be mainly as a development squad player initially - an area we're struggling to fill at that level. Get him on a long term deal on fairly small wages and it could be a risk worth taking. He certainly looked to have something about him today.

We have two right-backs, so can't see us adding there. If Liam Craig signs then that's our central midfield full too. If the rumours about Samson are true (i.e. he wants out & we want him out) then that would be a significant bit of wages saved also, then we can look at one or two extra back-ups. We managed to play two different elevens today, so if not we're still fairly covered.

I thought Samson said he was happy to stay a fight for number 1? If he leaves all the better. But do we then recall Breenan?

  10. Wasn't Boyd and Smith ex Rangers/Sevco players aswell, but they've been greeted with open arms.

Mcculock will not play unless very very extreme circumstances, so to start moaning about him been past it as a player, is a pish argument.

He is here to coach, what do we know of him as a coach, nothing. He could be the best bit of summer business or the worst bit. Give the man a chance.

If you remember John Hughes playing he was a horrible p***k, made Jig look like a gentleman, well has he not turned out to be a good coach.

Don't judge a book by its cover????????
