Been sitting trying to work out how I would play. Certainly wouldn't like to be Darren choosing an 11 out of that squad. Really hope we can have the 5 subs from 9 in our league when it comes to it cause going on those line ups our subs would be.

Hart (GK), Watson, Smith, Collins, watt or denholm, Bell (probably going out on loan by the sounds of it for match fitness), McConville, Newton.

4 of them at least could definitely help change a game and that's before another striker and defender are added into the mix.

Somebody has been playing too much fifa.

Anybody with half a brain knows Wallace cant play there himself. What like is Collins? We need another Dowds type.

This will probably get laughed and scoffed at but here goes. Now with the imminent departure of Dowds, I really hope the club addresses the distinct lacking of players with any presence/height within the squad. Only Dunlop springs to mind who could be considered tall-ish. Reckon we must have one of the shortest squads in the league.

Spot on, weve got Scotland symdrome. Weve struggled from set pieces ever since DY came in but he likes agile, fit players.

  3. Why are people wanting the top league bigger?? Scotland does not have 14 teams to compete at that level, championship will be full of Arbroaths and Mortons fighting to go up. I just dont understand how that will help anything. Top league needs to be 10 at most. I feel we are trying to protect the bottoms clubs from falling away into the junior league but where does that leave room for up and coming teams? Absolute shitshow imo

Without a doubt the above  has to be the cringiest/saddest post I have ever seen on P& B!!

How can you possibly compare one with the other in terms of poverty, given the austerity suffered by many because of the government we have in London?

    A lamentable almost unbelievable post!!

Listen bud, nick along to the Levenmouth Foodbank in Bowling Green Street in Methil and ask the staff there about the exponential increase in Foobank use over the last 5 years in Levenmouth.

I am sure it is no worse or better than Kirkcaldy, but.to be using poverty levels between two towns as oneupmanship on P&B............get a grip man.

There but for the grace of God etc etc. go many others.

Clearly the opening line was dig at the poor kids in methil which isnt called for in the slightest. My response was mearly stating a fact and wasnt aimed at kids but purely the junkies and wasters of kirkcaldy.

McGlynn in FFP has earmarked 2 players in Jan transfer window but remains tight lipped who they are. He has 2 specific players and if he could get them will be delighted.

Remember when he was "delighted" to have signed Mendy? Tracked him for months and even compared him to the likes of Marvin Andrews and Mark Campbell.

    Glorious.

Yep, poor kid then knows he has to grow up to be responsible and have a job, eh?

You would think the under privileged kids of Methil would appreciate the charity xmas gifts donated by the good people of Kirkcaldy.

I have lived, worked and went to school in kirkcaldy. I can say without doubt kirkcaldy had alot more underprivileged kids than methil did this xmas!

  7. We have been poor this quarter bar the last 2 games which have snuck us the 15 points mentioned above. It seems we are relying on Wallace a bit too much also. Realistically we need to be aiming for 4th place and I wouldn't say we are much better than the likes of Montrose and Clyde so we will see what happens.

Forfar are in the same boat. We go behind we crumble. The first goal tomorrow (if there's any goals at all) will be crucial and probably decide the outcome. Saying that, we blew the lead 3 times to Dumbarton, so even if we take the lead Stranraer could easily come back.

So really you mean the first goal doesnt matter?

This is off the top of my head from guys I actually remember seeing. Some pace on that front two. Was considering Odayemo up top, Sheerin has went on to have a decent career but he was absolutely massive at us, genuinely awful. Fagan was not only terrible but a bit of a thug. Just had a scan on TransferMarkt, I'm sure he was sent off more than once. There seems to be a distinct lack of the Murray Banter years players in here though, hopefully others can improve on this.

Nugent, Kerr and McBride were okay?

Shaun Fagan was amense until he would get sent off. Remember when we trailed to Arbroath 2-1 at HT with 9 men and went on to win 3-2? Robbie Reaside at his best.

I thought Hislop was okay also just not when playing beside Jim Hamilton.

Sheerin was about 17 and played about 3 games lol?

  10. I remember a few in Graeme Port (Signed by Alex Ferguson before moving to Dunfermline then us, most skillfull player ive seen but decision making was the worse.

Smith? Left back singed from Dumbarton who was on loan at us from Hibs a few seasons earlier, omg this boy was bad, couldnt believe he made a name for himself at Championship level.

Johnny Stewart. Played as a playmaker for the majority of the 13-14 season? Incredibly slow and couldn't pass 10 yards. Signed from Brechin im sure.
